Columbia mens Delta Ridge II Down Jacket

Comfortable, fit is good, a good coat for hiking, not too hot not too cold. Reflective material inside seems to do a good job at reflecting heat and a light down filling. Pleased with my purchase.

Brilliant jacket, super lightweight but also warm. I had a Rab down jacket before and that was not so good in the wind. This is excellent, the heat reflective layer likely helps. I wanted one jacket for winter, used for both casual wear and ok for wearing over business clothes then this is perfect. In regards to fit and finish, the shape is fine for the more athletic/trim amongst us. This would also be suitable for those who are more developed in the shoulders/chest. If your waist is closer in size to your chest probably go for the size up. Oddly for me the front zip has been sewn on by Ned Flanders for those preferring their left hand, or used to wearing ladies blouses. I have other “American” jackets and they are also like this. I imagine it’s normal for them.. Overall value, I’m a tight wad so I watch for the changes in price -thanks Rufus- and picked it up for a good discount. At full retail price, I wouldn’t go for it, but the overall quality matches jackets at the same price point.

Good jacket....the lining really is warmer[same in the boots...genuinely works]. Only gripe is the colour is not as in photo...which in this case looks khaki but in reality is a light olive type green....oh..and no cinches on the hood.

The active fit of this jacket works very well for those who work with multiple layers, the omni-heat technology works very well for retaining heat. The unique baffle design works well for those wearing backpacks. The lack of adjustable toggles for locking out the elements may deter people but for the price this jacket works very well compared to other down jackets with similar fill. I have found this jacket to be mildly water resistant and accept nixwax well. The packability of this jacket is respectable

Chaqueta ligera, es cómoda de llevar y ocupa poco. Además tiene un diseño muy bonito y personalmente me gusta mucho como me queda. Es cálida, pero no la recomiendo para inviernos fríos, es más adecuada para inviernos suavecitos, primavera y otoño. Dispone de un relleno de plumas, y se nota que da calorcito, pero es un relleno muy ligero por lo que no abriga lo suficiente para frio intenso aunque lleves capas intermedias. Es resistente al agua pero a lluvia fina de manera esporádica, no te pases. En mi caso (altura 178 y 70 kilos) la talla M es la mía. Estéticamente es muy chula y la veo ideal para uso urbano de entretiempo.

Piumino ottimo, confortevole, leggero per climi miti, lo sto usando da circa tre mesi e mi trovo bene. Se indossato con sotto intimo e pile termico va bene anche con temperature intorno a 0°C, altrimenti il suo isolamento è con temperature a circa +7°C. Taglia M veste regolare, sono alto 1,67 ed è appena un po' lungo sui fianchi ma va benissimo per tenere più caldo. Rivestimento interno termoriflettente, due tasche grandi interne per riporre ganti, cappello e scaldacollo. Due tasce esterne, anche loro capienti, peccato non abbia coulisse di regolazione al cappuccio e neanche in vita, comunque veste bene. La piuma è trattenuta da inserti termosaldati esenti da cuciture che donano un estetica con un tocco di eleganza. Consigliato più per uso cittadino, anziché per escursioni. Ottima comprimibilità se messo in una dry sac (non fornita) e leggero. Ottimo Piumino Columbia, ottimo servizio Amazon.
