Not recommended at all. I was very excited about this when I first saw it and I regret spending the money on it. I purchased in may of 2025, and it just didn’t have strong suction at all right out of the box. I contacted customer service and they sent me out a replacement which worked great with very strong suction. The vacuum is strictly used for cleaning my car and it’s really just any dirt on the floor mats and very small stuff that may be dropped. Probably use it once every two weeks or so for just a couple minutes. The replacement unit completely lost suction out of nowhere, there are no blockages and the dirt bin is nowhere near full, filter is not dirty at all. I contacted customer service about the issue over a week ago and still no response back via email. I wish I could say it’s an amazing product and maybe I just got a little bad luck with it but to me customer service is everything. If you pay almost $400 for something you want it to work good and have good customer service that is there to help you when you need it. I dont think I will be buying anymore giraffe tools products in the future if I don’t get a response from customer service to resolve the issue.

Not going to lie, when I turned it on and put my hand to the nozzle I thought that it would be sent back and a refund would be issued. However, I vacuumed my VERY dirty car (I have 2 toddlers) and it did WAY better than I expected. My car from steering wheel to trunk looked amazing!! Dirt collection tray is easy to remove and dump.

Update: The seller reached out and sent me a new unit, which I received a couple of days ago and I've now had the time to try out. I'm much happier with the new one - I've vacuumed up a lot of sawdust and 'black diamond' blasting media as a test, and the waste container is now almost half-full with very little noticeable change in suction power and no unexpected shut-downs. It's not the most powerful vacuum, but it's good enough, and the 30' retractable flex hose makes it easy to get where I need it to. Original Review: (1 star) I wanted to love this product, and I particularly like the self-retracting hose ... but that's where it ends. I wish I hadn't wasted my time mounting it, because I'm now returning it as defective. It barely sucks, and after using it to push dirt around the floor for a minute it shuts itself off. If I try to restart it it only runs again for maybe 30 seconds. When I clean out the filter and empty out the maybe half-cup of dirt in the collection tray it'll again run for maybe a minute or so ... My trusty old battery-powered shop-vac happily sucks up the same dirt pile with no trouble at all. I'm very disappointed in this "Grandstorm" vacuum.

Love the space saving of this by having it hung on the wall. Its easy to use and easy to clean when done.

Purchased this from Amazon. The hose reel does not work. Amazon told me they should warranty there products. I went on the website and they say that they have great warranties, they “stand behind their products” they give “great customer service” BS! I gave them everything they need to warranty and a video. They emailed me back and said that they would give me 10% off if I just bought a new one! Absolutely insulting! I will never purchase anything from Giraffe tools ever again!! Amazon gave me a full refund.

Does great when it works. W’ll use it for 10-15 minutes, then turn off. Try to use it again shortly thereafter, and it won’t turn on. Usually have to wait several hours for it to turn back on. Just have learned to live with it, too big to return.
