Yerba Mate Rosamonte with stems ,1 kg (Pack of 1)

Having recently discovered how many different kinds of tea and tea-like brews there are I thought I'd try this one as many people have recommended it. Yerba Mate Rosamonte definitely is one of the stronger and more refreshing ones which I have tried, which is exactly what I wanted. The taste of it is a little bit smokey (Not like ashy or burnt smoke but rather somewhat similar to a nice cigar smoke) and earthy but smooth. I definitely recommend it to everyone who like their tea, or wants to try something new, stronger or a different taste from the ordinary tea. Also I highly recommend buying it from the 'FeelGood-Sale Ltd' seller, I had a query and although I have send an e-mail late at night, I have received a response almost instantly, making this probably the best customer (service) experience I've had so far.

I started using this when I developed an intolerance to coffee and tea and so looked for a morning alternative. After reading about the benefits I decided to try it. I have tried many brands but decided this is my favourite. I do not use one of those special pot thingy's instead I use a ball shaped tea infuser. I use just enough hot water to cover the infuser and leave it to steep overnight. I like mine hot so in morning I add hot water to it. (I can get 2 or 3 drinks out of it before throwing away and starting again). It is also tastes really nice with and adds extra punch with a shot of lemon juice and ginger juice. I have heard it described as tasting like a green tea but personally I would say it tastes like liquid cigarettes and smells like them too. Yuk! but amazingly I have got used to it and look forward to it every day. It wakes me up and gives extra stamina as the day goes on. I am much more mentally alert too.

After looking at the reviews, I was convinced that it was a good brand of mate. At first, I was rather disappointed: lack of taste, a lot of dust... Overall it was not a pleasant first experience. After leaving a poor review, I decided to give it another try. By performing the advised gestures on the internet (30• angle, flipping it over...), it turns out to be much better! Therefore, I am retracting my previous review: this mate is good, has a pretty normal taste, and I definitely recommend it for the energy.

Im an Argentinean living in the UK who has just started doing Intermittent Fasting, after checking, having mate while in your fasting window is like having just tea = so it's allowed. I start my morning drinking half a litre of water, and the I keep drinking mate throughout out most of the fasting window till I break my fast. Usually a thermo holding 2 litres of water (stanly) will last me from 10 am till 1 pm...sometimes 2 pm which is the time I break the fast. If I hadn't had this drink I think I would have found it harder. Gives you a sense of being full....Drinking hot water has also many good benefits for your body. It goes without saying, that you can no add any sweetener or sugar to it......It I weren't fasting, probably I would add a little bit of swittener using this particular brand. It is quite strong but TASTY
