This product is excellent makes perfect toasted sandwiches None of the filling leaks out the plates are removable so can be washed I have bought cheap ones in the past calling themselves deep and the filling escapes and sticks on the plates. This Breville will last for years well worth the price

Very good item apart from bits breaking off at back when closing for no reason? Doesn't effect it but maybe a design issue?

Amazing Little toasty maker. Instructions are easy to read and simple to use. It heats up so quickly.compared to our previous one. It is so easy to clean and stores well. Works so amazingly and makes the bestest tasting toastys. Recommended!!!

Works well, doesn't take long to make a great toastie. Compact size and easy to clean. Would recommend.

It certainly makes toasted sandwiches. However it takes 4 minutes to heat up, and then at least 7-8 to brown and crisp. I made one with this product and, at the same time, another by using a toaster. It took less time to do it the old fashioned way. The end result was better for my usual method. The benefits for the tried and tested way is that filling doesn't get heated as in the Breville contents are so hot that you have to wait until it cools down, by which time the moisture has seeped into the bread making the whole thing a soggy mess and only edible with a knife and fork. Certainly easy to clean and sturdy, but for me not offering the same results as the more traditional method of a toasted sandwich. If it is a cheese one that is required with a melted filling then my grill was again faster than the Breville. I have returned mine.

Bought as a gift for my granddaughter. She is delighted with it. Easy to clean and makes excellent toasties. Well worth the money.

Worlds best toastie maker! It's so easy to use just switch on, warm up and chuck your bread and filling inside, it's nice and light, not heavy at all and comes with a handle and rear leg or stand to store tidily. It gets hot enough to make a perfect brown outside and gooey cheese middle, just closes and stands up to cool down after It's simple to use and the plates are removable to make washing even easier

Firstly, it is not deep fill. It doesn't even fit a normal sized slice of bread in it. And even with minimal fillings it overflows and is super hard to clean up. On top of all this it supports out the power to the house when we try to use it.

Wrong plug! I bought it in Australia, there was no mention of the wrong plug. It's useless to me.
