CU Medical iPAD SP1 AED, Automated External Defibrillator, Fully Automatic

Bought this because husband has some issues and we have a pool. Super easy to use and highly recommend

With this unit there are two sets of pads. Both sets have expiry dates, mine were 2 months apart. The chip in them ensures that come that date they are rendered useless. New pads can cost between £60-85. The battery has a life of approximately 5 years and will also become useless once expired. It is not rechargeable and a new unit will be approx £300. Facts worth knowing so if you are purchasing this for yourself beware and if it is a community purchase please let everyone know the finer details. I purchased this as a personal item and have notified close neighbours I have it, but I shan’t ask for a contribution when the items expire. I have just purchased a new pad for £83 and hopefully I will never need to use it. I am now saving for the replacement battery. How much for a life?

This defibrillator was delivered in perfect condition, the only problem was, wait for it, the instruction book was PRINTED IN FRENCH ! Not only that, the verbal instructions from the machine were SPOKEN IN FRENCH ! I contacted the seller four times, via Amazon messenger and three Amazon representatives sent strongly worded messages to the seller on my behalf but NOTHING ! The seller was in New York, USA and they totally ignored ALL the correspondence so I’ve asked to have it returned. I have ordered an identical AED from a different supplier and have had to pay another £120 odd on top of my original order price. I am not at all pleased, I am recovering from a massive heart attack followed by a stroke, and am 87 years old, live out in the sticks, so I was advised to buy the device ! But I never expected it to speak FRENCH !! Here’s hoping the one that I have reordered speaks ENGLISH and an English printed instruction book ! Wish me luck please !!

I bought this for insurance. I figured that I ensure my car, my house, the stuff in the house, and my cat - but not my wife or myself. This could save our life, and although I hope neither of us will ever need it, having watched the events of the recent Denmark football game, we will sleep a little easier knowing we have this to hand. It seems well built, and is easy to set up, with clear instructions issued to read up on, as well as the voice commands should it be needed. Fully automatic, this device will read whether a shock is needed or not so you can't get it wrong and do more harm than good, which was my fear. It is also suitable for children with a simple switch to move from adult to child as required. Glad we have this - hope it will only collect dust

Really truly think that if you've gone to the trouble of searching for this you should be buying it without reading my review. I believe this is now an essential piece of kit in any house or vehicle. All of our company vehicles now carry an AED as part of the first aid kit. Never go without it, hoping I never have to use it, but assured its there for the worst day of your life. Please help save a life and carry one

Purchased this in Feb 2023. My machine is already showing an marker to state pads and battery has gone. We have never used it on anyone but just had it out to check it. What would you advise. They apparently have to last much longer than this.

Hopefully I dont need a used review but this kit is 5star build quality excellent packaged perfect good accessories pack very clear instructions it's a life saving piece o kit well priced again just hope I dont need use it
