Nice lamp, manual power switch or via remote.
Love all of the features, and after having a few months, so far so good. However, don't lose the remote! While you can turn the lamp on and off directly on the lamp head itself, if you lose the remote or if it needs to be resynced to the lamp, you are left with whatever the last setting was. Why get one with a remote? It's ideal for the elderly or those with mobility issues. They can't reach. It's too hard for them to get up to turn the lamp on or off while napping on the couch. Or for those whith a sleeping child or pet on them, it's great having a remote. Just wish that I didn't have to resync a remote (no clue how it got unsynced), and I wish that the brightness could be controlled from the main lamp as well. Easy to assemble. Even elderly parents love it. Quality and sturdiness are fine. Light to medium weight. Visually doesn't dominate the space. Would I buy it again? Probably yes. 12/20/2025 NEW INFO. You can adjust the brightness on the lamp without the remote. Just hold down the button at the top of the lamp to make it brighter or dimmer. Once it goes the maximum or minimum level ex.darker, keep holding the button and it will go brighter. And yes, it still works great.

Good light, bright, and has adjustable shades!
The power button is in a spot when you adjust it the color or brightness may change, once you learn where to put your hand its an awsome light, bright enough to tattoo makeup !
