Sturdy build, love the mechanical buttons and switchable plates.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my 6 year old that plays Roblox. He brought it to me today sad because the left toggle went limp and won't stay centered.Update: their customer service reached out and quickly took care of me, much appreciated!

It times out really quickly and then struggles to pair again. I often have to unplug and plug back in the dongle to get it working. And in their genius design, they made the dongle reset button only accessible with a pinhole? It's a shame because it's a beautiful controller but occasionally a pain to use since I just want to play games.

--edit-- there is a reset hole on the dongle if the controller ever stops connectinglove the mechanical buttons and programmable back buttons, controller feels great and works wonderfully with no lag. coming from the dramatically overpriced highest end Microsoft pro controller this one is way better and 1/4th the cost! joysticks are a little stiff and tight but that is how it's designed to be anti drift and I'm sure I'll get used to it in no time.

Easy SMX has become a brand I look out for as even their budget options are great quality and have yet to disappoint me. That being said the X10 controller is a perfect controller for pc gamers. I absolutely love the build quality, customizability, and connectivity of this controller. The controller has a great ergonomic feel in your hands and a premium weight to it that doesn't leave it feeling cheap at all. The included faceplates are a nice addition that a lot of brands would try to charge separately for. The variety of connection options make this great for any device you want to pair it with, and the battery life is exceptional.Connectivity has to be one of the most difficult things for pc intended controllers. To get a good wireless experience from a controller used on pc a 2.4g receiver is absolutely necessary in my opinion. Using the included adapter this controller has no noticeable lag, and all of the buttons and D-pad feel great because they're mechanical with nice mouse like clicks to them. With hall effect sticks and triggers this controller is built to last, and though hall effect sticks will always have slightly more dead zone to them than traditional sticks you'll never have to deal with drifting which is a huge benefit. The ergonomics of this controller are great and feel very familiar as they build off the traditional Xbox layout. Though this controller doesn't have a ton of macros the back buttons are programmable and feel good as well. I love that switching connection modes on this controller is just a slider on the back. Flip a switch and connect to your mobile devices, Switch, or use this controller wired. It's a million times better than having to remember some odd combinations of buttons to change the connection mode.This controller has exceptional build quality, all the features you could want in a quality pc controller, and feels like it was designed with the user truly in mind. It's customizable, easy to use, and connects instantly with no delay. The long battery life is an added plus, and is preserved by the controllers quick battery saving settings and instant connection when turning on. The value on this controller is insane and it has easily become one of my favorite controllers. Another win for Easy SMX!

I own the EasySMX X05 controller, so when I had the opportunity to order this one, I was pretty sure I knew what to expect: a solid offering at an even more impressive price. And with the EasySMX X10, I was mostly right—except for that ____ "A" button.So yes, I’m not entirely satisfied with my X10 thanks to a squeaky "A" button, but the build quality and performance are otherwise extremely impressive. Even starting with the buttons, which are on mechanical switches, they feel tight yet responsive, with a satisfyingly audible click.The Hall effect joysticks are also particularly nice to use, especially compared to some of the bigger-name options. If you're not familiar, they essentially offer more precision and durability. This is subjective, but for me, they feel better to use as well.I honestly couldn't care less about the swappable plates, but for those who like to change things up, it's a pretty cool inclusion. That said, I’m pretty sure the plates are the cause of my squeaky "A" button, and it’s probably limited to my unit. If you notice the same issue, try playing without the plate to see if it still squeaks—mine hasn’t, so far.The rear triggers are well done, perhaps slightly bigger than necessary, but responsive and certainly better than paddles, in my opinion. This controller clearly models itself after the Xbox Elite controller, but I'll be honest with you—despite my annoying "A" button, I genuinely think this is a far better controller for the money. Even if these were compared at a more comparable price, it would still be a tough call as to which offers better value. I'll admit I prefer the slightly more premium feel of the Elite, and I trust Microsoft’s customer service if there's an issue, whereas these lesser-known companies can be more hit or miss. But considering the regular retail price, I can tell you this much: I certainly wouldn't pay more than three times as much for the Elite, not when the X10 is this good.I think it’s clear by now that I would recommend the X10. The X05, which feels like a cross between the Switch Pro controller and an Xbox 360 controller, is also a very solid choice with very few issues. If you're in the market, that’s another great option. Either way, I have to hand it to EasySMX—they're really getting things right. At under $50, you just can't go wrong with the X10. It’s a must-buy. If you don’t have the cash for that, though, scoop up an X05. I love that controller, and at almost half the price of the X10, you simply can't beat the value. Buy either with confidence.
