Review: A good scientific book Review: A really good read for those interested in understanding the data behind the climate change headlines. As the author states, the book takes a clinical look at empirical data and how this has helped to shape predictive models. The causal reader will need to stick with the numbers and graphs in places but the reward is a thoughtful sequence of intimately linked conclusions which help one draw balanced conclusions. The books lacks the usual catastrophe driven headlines found in other tomes which is altogether refreshing and empowering. Altogether a very good read and well recommended!

I think the best thing about Krauss' climate change book is that he presents objective and factual evidence, and leaves it for you to decide your own conclusions. Man made climate change is incontrovertible, and Krauss makes this obvious. What we do collectively is another matter: how will we balance many real human needs with global environmental needs? It is not clear to me, yet I remain optimistic that the issues we face can be resolved. This book is an ideal read for those who want a fair, balanced and objective report of the evidence proving man made climate change, and for that reason I recommend it

The contents of the book are great and highly recommended (5 stars). But don't buy this paperback edition (1 star). All charts are in black and white whereas the Kindle version has coloured charts. This is essential for better understanding their meaning. Perhaps the hard cover edition is in colour...
