Mean Well 24V LED Driver ELG-200-24B – 150W-200W – 0-10v Dimmable – IP67

I have installed many of these and never had one to fail. Some are running 24/7 for over 5 years.

During a major kitchen renovation I installed 6 sets of Philips Hue led lights for in cabinet and under cabinet lighting and wired them to a single low voltage circuit. I eliminated the included individual power supplies and used the single Mean Well power supply to power them. Works great, no issues.

I've been working with lighting for over 25 years, and I've never bought a driver that bad with this one. It heats up a lot and it only lasted 5 days, I used only 50% of the capacity, I tried to return and never got a response.

We are using Mean Well power supply blocks for a few years now and very happy with the brand. 1. It's a solid built transformer without any cooling fans. Thus fewer part to break. 2. I delivers a solid amount of power, never less than rated. Other brands may flactuate with fewer power that plays a huge role when you calculate the load 3. It the best driver for dimming but you must use low voltage electronic dimmers like Lutron Diva 0-10v LED type. Be mindful, you need additional 2 wires run from the transformer to dimmer to power dimming function.
