I bought this mineral sunscreen for safe sun protection without harsh chemicals. It’s an excellent product and very effective, though it’s quite thick and can be tricky to blend in. Despite that, I would still recommend it, as it’s much safer than many chemical sunscreens.

Natural Sunscreen with SPF 25 - offers good sun protection when careful with application and reapplied as needed. I have bought this Shade sunscreen a few times and will definitely buy it again. It is very portable in the tin, no worries about liquid spillage. Easy to apply, may leave a white residual on the skin but that is just the zinc oxide which provides the protection. It does have a scent to it, which my partner did not like but as my sense of smell is non existent, it did not bother me at all. I will take that over chemical filled sunscreen. Lasted me 7 days on holiday this year.

Used on African Holiday. Worked wonderfully. Its a chemical free, natural sunscreen aha really works!! The tin contains a solid white cream that is fragrance free. It was hot where i was so it was smooth to apply but I imagine in colder weather (ski resorts etc) you might need to rub the surface a little to warm it up. I was worried that the oils and butters would have been to greasy for my face but i was fine and suffered no breakouts as a result of using it (though when in the UK my skin tends to be on the drier side, so if you have oily skin test it out first). I have darker skin so I found that this does leave a whitish/ grey residue- due to the non- nano zinc, fair skin may not experience this problem. However, I found that this can be minimised in 2 ways; 1) Exfoliate your skin before using it. I found out this works by accident. After 2 days of grey tinge on my face (i looked as though i was getting ready for some kind of tribal ceremony), on the third day I applied the screen after I had washed my face with a face scrub and I found the product was able to absorb into my skin much better, so there was really very little whiteness left behind. 2) Use the screen 20-30 mins before you are ready to go out. I found that after this time, the whitishness faded. esp. when the weather was very hot. And don't be put off by the size, it lasts for ages! I was away for 3 weeks and still have 80% left (just me using it). I love the fact that there are no nasty chemicals and so few ingredients. It is not fragranced I got no burnt bits and no heat rash and this was in 34 degree heat!! I would recommend reapplying if you plan to swim or if you sweat a lot but i did not do either of these things and only applied twice per day and was fine. I would definitely recommend.

Bought this product due to it being all natural and non toxic. It does what it is supposed to however I found it very thick and hard to work in. This made it virtually impossible to use on my 4 year old and even nearly on myself. I bought during the recent heatwave in June so even in heat it didn't appear to soften for me. The white cast was also very prominent which provided peace of mind regarding coverage but even a few hours later I still looked pale (face). Again this is a positive for longevity and coverage however, I couldn't get on with it, it felt very heavy on and my 4 year old eventually refused to let me apply it. Sadly not suitable for use personally despite reallt wanting to love it.

Ordered this as I wanted to try something more natural for my family. I love the tria size pack before committing to the price of the full size tub. Mixed feelings about this I love the natural ingredients but it is quite oily feeling on the skin, which I don’t like. I haven’t used it out in the sun yet so can’t speak for its effectiveness against sunburn It’s a hard balm and you really need to work at it it to moisten it up. It’s also quite hard to speed on the skin so I doubt I’d be able to use this on my kids as it would take too long to apply and would need excessive rubbing which would annoy them. I’m going to keep it and use it on my face and neck int he warmer months and see how tha gos but wouldn’t have the patience to use on my full body

I was looking for a natural sunscreen for my upcoming holiday to mexico, that was free from all the toxic chemicals that most sunscreens contain. After reading about this product on the companies website and all the positive customer reviews on amazon, I decided to purchase. I understood this product contained zinc oxide which I accepted would come out white on the skin. However, after following all the instructions, the application of this product wasn't as smooth as described. Even warmed up in the hand pre- application, it was extremely difficult to apply and did not absorb equally. Hence I had patches on the skin where I'd burnt- where the product had not absorbed successfully. My body normally tans quite easily. After 2 days of using the product and red patches on my body, I resorted to using the local sunscreen from the hotel shop. I will therefore not be purchasing this product again and would certainly not recommend to any of my friends or family. I would also caution customers who would use this product in a very hot country especially those with sensitive skin who are susceptible to burning. Considering the value of other sunscreens in the market, the shade 100ml is £8.75!!! That is certainly not good value for money. I'd advise others to look elsewhere.

Non-toxic and perfect for the family! Took on holiday and none of us got burnt. It’s easy to apply, can have a white cast but keep rubbing in and it goes.

This natural sunscreen works. It smells lovely & yes, you do need to really rib it in to get rid of the whiteness - I use another extra dob of coconut oil as this really helps. You can really see the difference after using this too - really soft & moisturised skin! It works too so I highly recommend!

Esta bien xq no contiene toxicos ni disruptores, eso si, es pastosa, yo la llevo en el coche y del calor se ablanda pero si la tienes en casa hasta cuesta coger, deja blanco pero las que no dejan son las toxicas asi que bien

Resistente all'acqua e protegge bene.. Un po' duro da spalmare ma efficente lo consiglio

Ich benutze die Sonnencreme als Tagescreme , also jedentag. Es ist schön zu wissen das ich damit mein Gesicht vor uv Strahlen schütze und etwas gutes tue. Es riecht gut, meine Haut ist schön weich. Damit der Sonnenschutz etwas gescheidiger ist, gebe ich wenige tropfen Tamanu öl hinzu. Zu beginn wirkt natürlich das Gesicht ölig, aber das legt sich nach einer gewissenzeit wieder. Das einzige Manko was mich stört ist, der preis ist schon recht hoch (Obwohl dieses produkt im Vergeich zu anderen noch erschwinglich ist), wenn ich mich damit noch anders eincremen würde (Oberarme und co) ist die creme schnell aufgebraucht. Habe das Produkt schon mehrmals gekauft, die konsistenz ist immer anders, was für naturprodkt normal ist.

Ich benutze die Sonnencreme nun schon seit einigen Wochen für die ganze Familie. Sie schützt auch empfindliche Kinderhaut, absolut empfehlenswert! Bei hohen Temperaturen lässt sie sich schnell und problemlos verteilen. Nur wenn die Creme relativ kalt ist, wirkt sie körnig. Allerdings wird sie schnell flüssig, wenn man sie kurz zwischen den Handflächen verteilt. Weiterer Pluspunkt ist, dass sie keine hartnäckigen Rückständen auf der Kleidung hinterlässt.
