Amazing value compared to Remarkable alternatives, but may still splurge in the future.
The price really can't be beat - Remarkable really charges you an arm and a leg for the pens and the cases. $20 vs. $79 for the regular and $129 for the book is a no brainer. The quality is great, it looks expensive, and the sleeve for the pen has never failed me, and seems much more secure than how Remarkable's own sleeves secure the pen. My only gripe is the process of inserting and removing the tablet, but only because of how light Remarkable 2 is. With the tablet at 14 oz and the case at 11 oz, holding it up to read goes from effortless to slightly uncomfortable. I haven't had any real trouble snapping it in and out of the tablet, but obviously not as easy as Remarkable's slide in folio or magnetic book folio. Just something to keep in mind if cost is less of an option for other Remarkable users.

It’s okay…
It’s a good case with decent quality for the price. It looks good and is true to color that you see advertised. Lightweight and easy to carry, also easy to put in and remove from the case. What I don’t like about it is how bulky it is when the pen is in the holder. Obviously nothing lays flat with it…which is my fault - I should have known that would happen.

If only it was reversible...
I ordered this for my reMarkable 2. It is a BEAUTIFUL and affordable case compared to the ones sold by the reMarkable company. The case is very sturdy and holds on to the tablet beyond well. In fact, I had quite the difficult time removing it when I realized the design flaw. At this time, the reMarkable 2 can be viewed in two modes--portrait and landscape. However, the landscape mode can only be view in one direction. Unlike tablet and cell phone technology, the reMarkable 2 does not auto rotate, therefore the tablet in landscape mode was upside down. The case is design in such a way that there is no way to flip the case or tablet to accommodate the lack of auto rotate. Should reMarkable ever update their technology to include auto rotate, I'll come back to purchase this case! 😊

Fits great and love the stylus holder
The case fits the remarkable2 extremely well. It clipped in perfectly and feels secure. I like that I can fold the cover to the back like I do with a spiral notebook, and it sits flat for a great writing experience. I also like that there is a sleeve on the back of the cover that fits a stylus, securely, so when I throw it in my bag, I don't have to worry about the stylus getting knocked loose. It is a minimal cover and I haven't dropped it yet, but I feel that it protects my device for what I need it to do.

Holds and protects
I like the versatility of be able to use it as a stand. I like the fact that the tablet is held in and corners are somewhat protected. I do not however like the pen holder, I may have placed this somewhere else or thought of a different holder. It makes it bulky. I have to push it in and the material changes, so it catches there. All and all a wonderful case at a steller price.

Ideal for the Amateur
The main fault of this case is it’s quality. It is composed of very cheap materials that will deteriorate rather quickly. (With one weeks use, the pen harness is flared and unattractive.) To note, it works fairly well at protecting the device from being disrupted by tabletop debris, and preventing it from sliding around while you are working... and those might be the only superior benefits of the case. If you were to drop this from waist-height with your device inside, the case has no function to prevent it from opening mid-fall and causing damage to your reMarkable 2. You could certainly expect damage to your screen if it acquaintances the ground. Buy this if you want something, somewhat, aesthetically pleasing and convenient for desk work. Don’t make the purchase if you want it to be protected from falls whilst traveling from workspace to workspace. Having no magnetism for the case to secure screen makes it risky. Also, even though you see in the photos offered above, the opportunity for stand-up writing/drawing does not exist. There is nothing to secure it upright or at a 45 degree angle, so it falls with the slightest pressure of your stylus/pen. Notwithstanding the critique, it’s worth stating it is a good supplement in place of the more expensive reMarkable branded cases, but by no means should it be considered a competitor.

Looks great and fits well
I received this today and my reMarkable 2 snapped snuggly into place. The gray case looks great and feels sturdy. It appears that they have stopped putting their logo on the case and I feel that adds to the sleek, professional look I was going for. It should be noted that this case DOES have magnets to hold it closed, but they are not very strong magnets. After some research, I am glad that the magnets are weak because there are reports that strong magnets can cause areas of the canvas display to stop working.

Works great!
What it doesn't do: -use magnets to hold the device and pen in place. YEAH! No more lost pen in my travel bag. What it does do: -remarkable 2 snaps in like a cellphone into a case -pen holder is secure and the pen does not fall off the device -pen holder also protects the fragile pen tip -the cover folds all the way back, exposing the entire face of the remarkable 2 What it doesn't do well: -when using as a stand, there is not a notch to keep it in place. The bottom surface has some grip to it, so we'll see how that ages. I probably won't use this feature.

Good quality

My case has no magnet in the cover. It does not stay closed as advertised. The tablet holder is from hard plastic so I am hesitant if any damage will occur to the remarkable. I expected more based on the reviews.

First of all, it says the cover has a magnet for closing. There is no magnet. Second of all, the cover is designed incorrectly. When viewing remarkable notebook or page in landscape mode, it is upside down when propped up with the case (see pic). The only way to fix it is to put the tablet in opposite way but your power button and port cannot be accessed. Don't think this product was even tested.
