Great quality, holds lots of paint, worth the money. Make sure you clean them well, and will last a long time! High quality paint brushes that paint really well, very functional, wow the price (or you can spend a lot less on a paint brush kit that fall apart and you need to trim to even up!)

Convenient short handle and nice springy synthetic hairs with the right amount of firmness vs. give for efficient application of gel mediums. Possibly great for collage too, and I see a lot of folks recommending it for that particular use. I used this to apply gel medium before mounting a painting on paper to a flat wooden panel. I'm planning to buy a second brush if I can find a larger size for slightly broader glue application. This size 8 Filbert brush has a tip that will give a fair amount of control for details while still being able to hold some medium. Overall, a good buy. Hope this helps!

The hairs on the tip are frayed. If I had bought this brush in a store, I would not have picked this one as the tip was damaged.
