Impressive Little Flyer!
I bought the DJI Neo Mini a while ago but didn’t get to fly it for ages due to constant windy weather. Finally gave it a proper test—and wow, I’m impressed! Despite its tiny size, it handled surprisingly well even in moderate wind. Setup was quick, and the palm takeoff feature is a nice touch. The 4K video is crisp, and the AI subject tracking works like a charm. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and perfect for spontaneous flights. Great value for the price—definitely not just a toy

Great Drone- fantastic quality. Small- so not for windy days
Amazing Drone, perfect for hikers, Instagram, social media. Not amazing in windy conditions- but quality of recording is awesome. the 8 tricks it can do make for a really professional video. The person tracking is great, and this works for running too. Recommend a second battery (17 mins of flight) - but you can recharge from a battery pack between recordings and it charges the relatively small battery pretty fast. They do offers with 2nd batteries and a charger - depends on what you want. Can't fly mega fay away- but can be controlled from your phone to about 25/30 m really. Careful not to fly it out of range where you can't get signal back - it will just hover - then land (e.g. in a lake/ off a cliff) if the battery gets low. It does not return to you when battery hits a limit. But this is a fantastic rugged TINY drone that takes no time to get used to. use the app on the phone to set all the variables- but you can then fly it without the phone on the quick menu built in. Drone tells you all the settings it has from a one button cycle on the top

Amazing, my 4th DJI drone. Instagram heaven
Purchased myself, my 4th DJi drone, also own Mini 1, AIr 2, Mini 3 pro. And had a Yuneec Typhoon H before that, so I've been flying nearly 10 years now. This is the easiest.drone you'll ever need. A 60 year old man who can't use a computer managed to fly this in 2 minutes. A few settings to unsharpen the picture as a they're a little to sharp. But the quality is amazing especially considering the price. Compared to the mini 3, you'd be pushed to notice the difference especially online where everything is compressed anyway, so unless you're watching side-by-side on a big 50+ TV isn't not even in question. Go on YouTube, watch a how too video then, select the mode you want, hand out, press and hold the button for a second, the drone tells you what's going on, and it flies. Whatever mode, then hand out, it detects and lands. If using follow me mode, if it hits anything, it will just fly back a few feet and land, or if it gets a branch stuck in a prop as happened before the picture you see the green grass in. Then it's so robust that it doesn't break! I even crashed it in a car part hitting ceiling, it dropped and no damage :) Battery life is about 15 minutes. I'd recommend the flymore as you get 2 battery and a remote control that then gives you the same range as the more advanced drones but due to it's small size it doesn't cope as well in the wind, typically I'll get high wind warnings around 30-40 metres though it has gone as high as 100meters or 340 feet. Personally I love it, it's small, rebust and fun to use. Though it's a high pitch fan noise that will keep you hearing it much further than any bigger drone. You can also your phones microphone to record while flying , and as a remote over Bluetooth.

Good for the money without a doubt.
Well. It’s incredible. The picture quality and stabilisation are amazing. It’s so easy to use. One regret which I have solved now is I didn’t buy the hand held controller and extra batteries package. But I’ve bought that now and it’s a real game changer. If you can buy the whole package on day one. The battery doesn’t last a long time roughly 8 - 12 minutes max but I’ve never found it a problem especially now I’ve bought the back up battery. It’s tough but light and does everything you’d need it to do at this price point. I’ve had good fun with it with my new puppy and documenting my garden through the year. Yeh it’s good.

A good buy, leaves me wanting more but also increases my anxiety about damaging it.
I'll try to keep this review different. You can read and watch all the reviews and forum posts but with some products, you're better off just getting it and learning as you go. Imagine a product doesn't have a behaviour or feature on day one that you would like which stops you from buying it and then a few weeks later, a simple software update adds it in but no one really talks about it because it isn't important to them, only you; you're missing out. Will update as time goes by: Pros: -The many options to control the drone is helpful -You can modify the joysticks on the DJI RC-N3 remote controller to a layout you prefer. I was on the verge of returning it until a random YouTube video showed how to customise it. Out of maybe 15 beginner setup videos, it was one random click that mentioned this. -The DJI app indicates to you if you are in a no fly zone. -Even though you are falling in the trap of strategic pricing, spending more on the 'Fly more combo' will give you an all around better experience than buying this separately. -Maybe a con to if you are serious about privacy. When controlling with the phone, the footage is immediately available on the app to be downloaded on to your phone. Cons: -For months now it seems as though negative experiences with the Neo is building in relation to the drone losing control and flying off doing its own thing. I think it has been narrowed down to software issues but also using the DJI RC-N3 remote controller with it is likely to increase the chances of it misbehaving and not responding to inputs. I haven't experienced this as yet, but its concerning that apparently no software update has been sent out to fix the issue all this time. I don't loose anything, so I would be mad if my drone flew off to find a new owner. -This drone really dislikes the dark and poor lighting. I've experienced it start to drift and then auto land after flying from one room to the next. There may be more to this, but I didn't consider the room to be anywhere near dark. I'm guessing that flying through shaded areas are fine but there might be a count down that decides that you have been in the shade too long and it decides to land. -You can control it with your phone but there is a distance limit. -18 mins flight time is really low. Adding protective components to the drone, reduces this further.

Awesome drone - read my review if you are new to the hobby - but just get one
I am new to the drone hobby. This drone is fantastic and I love it. There are quite a few things I would have liked to have known before I got started. Firstly I wish I bought the "DJI Neo Motion Fly More Combo" which includes batteries, FPV (First Person View) googles and the joystick style controller (which is very natural for joystick loving users to use). This is what I would buy now, but I bought the drone only, because I was unsure about what I wanted. I have ended up buying the battery charger (not necessary as you can charge the drone directly with a USB C cable, but a nice to have). I ended up buying the googles and RC motion 3 and I also got the RC2. Use case: 1 FPV you need the googles and an FPV controller (I bought the Motion 3, which I love but does not allow for manual full speed control) but you can also get the DJI FPV Remote Controller 3 which allows full manual mode and top speed flight. (I don't currently have this controller). 2 For filming you have a few options, the drone with no controller at all, you can use the app on your phone or tablet (you need a device with wifi and mobile data to set up for the first time). If you use an android device you can only get the app from the DJI website which I do not like. This requires more messing and allowing 3rd party install etc. You can also use various other controllers, the best in my humble opinion is the "DJI RC 2" which has a host of features including the auto return home function which the drone alone or app don't have. I think this is a fantastic fun and safe drone which I am really enjoying, mainly for FPV. A lot of people moan about the video quality, but for home use I think it is great. I guess when you are comparing to professional kit, it is lacking. I can't imagine anyone would buy a £200 drone and expect pro level video out of it. But the video you do get is great in my opinion. So bottom line, I bought this for fun and FPV, the fact I can inspect my roof with it, is simple a bonus. If you are considering getting into FPV, get that version of the Neo package, if you want video I would look at the Pro 5 mini, if you want a mix of FPV and better video perhaps take a look at the Avata 2. Any which way you will have a lot of fun. I think I will get the Avata 2 next.

Best thing I've bought this year.
Why did you choose this product over others?: Firstly price, it's the cheapest DJI Drone they do but my god it packs a punch. Use it on its own or with your phone or the remote. So versatile and easy to use. All the drone, all the features but at a fraction of the cost of the flagship drone and this fits on your pocket. Camera quality: 4k and it's really good. Ease of flight: Anyone and I mean anyone can fly this drone especially if using the auto fly modes...... It's idiot proof while getting pro quality footage. Drone quality: You'll by hard pressed to damage this drone,.very robust, light and almost impossible to break (obviously if you're a tool and crash it on purpose it may break).

What a great drone
This is a great little drone. A.number of pre-set flight patterns which is ideal for film making. You can fly the drone 3 ways via these pre-set patterns, via your mobile phone and also via a DJI remote controller.
