A not unsubstantial cost machine, which I've had for a couple of weeks. I'm very pleased so far. It's very easy to use, speaking as an inexperienced espresso maker. The Ninja videos to set up, as well as the paper Quick Start Guide, are excellent. I watched the set-up video, accessed via a QR code on the machine, first then I used the paper guide to set it all up. I've used it at least once a day since I got it and did invest in some decent coffee beans ordered online, which it is highly likely I will continue ordering. A coffee made from freshly ground beans is definitely tastier than one from beans sold ground! This machine only uses beans, you cannot put ground coffee in the hopper. The milk frother is also outstanding with its different froth styles. I have had none of the problems others mention. I do think it's important to thoroughly clean it after use as the easily removable stirrer in the bottom of the jug could get gummed up with milk if not cleaned properly after every use.

Had many coffee machines over the years, but this is by far the best one. The versatility and options for set up are outstanding, yes it's expensive but its worth it. It has replaced around 3 machines in our house. We havent been to a Starbucks or Costa since buying this, lots of spare parts available for longevity and 2 year warranty from Ninja. You will need to buy water filters and you cannot buy the Ninja cleaning tablets, but you can use generic ones and they work just as well. The unit comes apart for easy cleaning including the reservoir and grinder. It does love to use LOTS of water though, most of which ends up in the bottom tray for anything over 9 bar. Tip - put rubbish coffee in - get rubbish coffee out - highly recommend Lavazza or Illy beans - find which ones work for you, delicious coffee if you pay for decent beans.

Love this machine and glad I waited for this model to come out. the milk frother is a game changer over manual machines and unless your a professional Barista this machine makes awesome coffee. Having tried various beans I like how the machine re calculates its self to recommend the grind size. I would highly recommend this Ninja coffee machine, but of course do your own home work if your shopping for any machine.

The first unit wouldn’t power on. I had a video call with Ninja and, after confirming the fault, they advised me to send it back to them rather than return it to Amazon, and they would arrange a replacement. They provided a free returns label and a week later I received the replacement. When I opened the replacement, I carefully removed the protective sticker from the front display, only to find a large amount of adhesive residue underneath – and worse, two small scratches and what looked like rub marks. I contacted Ninja again and completed another video call, showing them that I was still in the process of unpacking the unit. They reluctantly agreed to replace it once more. I can’t fault Ninja’s customer service so far. Hopefully it’s third time lucky – otherwise this one will be going back to Amazon.

Absolutely love this machine. Took about 5-10 minutes to watch the basic instructions and after this I was away. There is a sticker on the side of the machine that tells you how to brew most of the variations and then it's simple to make changes. I do find the drip tray fills with water fairly quickly (say 6-10 drinks) but it's quick to empty. We are now experimenting with coffee beans and things like Milkshakes and Hot Chocolates to get them perfect and having great fun in the process!

I've had three bean to cup machines before this, and they were ok, but nothing special. What they gain in convenience, they more than lose in the cleaning and maintenance. Every one has been a chore to clean, often having fine dust scattered about the mechanism. This machine is almost as convenient, but it's MUCH easier to clean, and the coffee is superior. I'm enjoying the consistently good coffee this produces. I only drink espresso and Americano, so I've not tried any of the milk-based drinks and can't comment on how well they come out. I'll probably try the cold brew at some time, but haven't yet. The AI assistant however is hopeless. The quick start video says make an espresso, follow its recommended grind setting and try again. By the third cup you've dialled it in. This is complete rubbish. It just throws out random numbers, never anything like the last one it recommended. It recommended 14 at first, then 20, then 3, then 21, then 14. I've settled on 21, and for a while it kept recommending 14, but now it keeps recommending 4. If I were to choose 4, I'd get a horrible, weak brew with very poor extraction. Don't bother with the assistant, just follow your taste and stick with what you prefer. Different beans will require slightly different settings, but nothing like as wildly varying as the assistant suggests.

Beautiful machine quality made. We use it every day and is absolutely flawless the tampering side handle is so smooth and pleasant. Milk frothing in various style it is so easy thanks to the hands free simple by just push of a button. And it has hot water for Americano. I don’t go coffee shop anymore because I can brew my own coffee now. Worth every penny.

Perfect drinks,however you need to empty water tray too often ! If not it overflows think they need to loik at this as counter top ends up soaking.
