This backrest is so comfortable and it’s shaped in such a way that it supports your neck and head very well too as you recline. I’m almost 80 and have a bad back and need surgery on my neck but am unable to have it. This adorable cat backrest firmly supports my bad back, my bad neck, and my head as I lie back and watch tv. This cat pillow is very soft. My daughter loved it,it's the perfect size for a twelve year old. It's soft but sturdy. It smells like strong chemicals. I aired it outdoors for several days. The soft fabric unzips and can be washed. I washed it on cold and air dried it. The I side is filled with foam pieces.
