Comfortable and effective!
These work great! Very comfortable even on hot days. They don’t slip or move during use. Bought them to keep my shins from being beat up by the viscous mountain bike pedals and they definitely do the job. I use them without the hard plastic reinforcement and they’re fine. Definitely recommend.

Comfortable, good design and quality...
I really like these shin guards. I got them for Street/Flatland Unicycling and they're great. They cover your entire lower leg (below the knee) with no openings in the back. FYI, I got the small/medium size and they only have 3 straps. This isn't a problem, though. I think the large/x-large set has 4 straps. Anyway, they are made with a very thick neoprene material. Some thick webbing holds curved plastic guards in place for the shin bone. The plastic inserts are removable. These pads stay in place and are easy to strap on without removing your shoes. They are also slim enough to wear underneath a pair of straight leg jeans. I paid less than 30, and they are worth every penny!

Good shins for a good price!
Ive worn lots of different shin guards over the years and these seem to be as good any other.Thought I would be getting the 3-strap shins, but ended up getting the updated 4-strap versions instead. Super comfortable and cushy! Only downside is that the hard plastic insert is a bit narrower than what you might find on other comparable shin guards. However, it does cover the shin bone, and that is the main focus of what a shin guard is intended to do.Very nicely constructed. Would definitely buy again.4 out of 5 stars only because the insert isnt as wide as other shin guards Ive worn...FUSE, Pro-Tec, etcBtw...got mine a week ago for $23, and not the $55 listed now.Seems everytime I buy something on Amazon, the price goes way up a few days later. Cant figure that out.lol

Exceptional quality
I am a downhill mountain biker here in Colorado. I bought these shin guards And they are exceptional. They definitely protect the shin, not heavy or bulky and you don’t sweat in them.

Best protection I've found for pedal bites
Was looking for something to protect front and rear of shin from pedal bites during unicycle tricks. These are the best I've found, regardless of price. Also cheaper than Kris Holm combination knee and shin guards, while working better.
