Best pillow ever invented.
Possibly the best pillow ever invented. I had the same pillow when it first came out about 9years ago (it's a guess) and after 5 years and me being awkward i burst it. So I then spent approx £400+ on various pillows for severe neck pain, insomnia and migraines. Now it doesn't 'cure' any of these but it sure does makes things less uncomfortable. It's super supportive and extremely comfortable. It's not hard like some pillows that make you hear your own heart beat. It's not super soft that your head hits the mattress through it. It moulds to your shape. You can push your shoulder into it and it'll form a support around your neck and scalp. If you fill it correctly you won't hear the slushy noise when your lying on it but if you physically move it by hand you'll hear water so don't be alarmed. It recommend 4-5 litres of water for firm and i actually went above this, I'd guess 6 litres in mine and that's perfect for me.I can't recommend this pillow enough. One of the pillows I previously purchased was £120 so this was a bargain.

The Best Pillow I've Ever Had (and I've had many!)
I'm very happy with my new pillow. Like many people here, I've been searching for the right pillow for years and it's been trial and error. I have a genetic condition called Elher's-Danlos syndrome, which makes me very hypermobile. I also have quite a few diagnosed conditions throughout my spine, which send me to the chiropractic doctor and osteopath on a weekly basis. I do a lot to help myself and have my own ways of relaxing my cervical spine. This pillow I find brilliant for performing a spinal realignment while I'm getting relaxed to fall asleep. It's just really good and I will be recommending to others as well.

Improved my sleep!
Bought out of desperation as suffering from general poor quality of sleep and frequent waking. My quality of sleep has definitely improved. Still wake up but not as often. Only draw back is I can’t dress the bed as it won’t stand on its side due to its weight but still worth it.

Real comfort with a water pillow
I'm generally a side sleeper and I've tried many pillows over the years to find the most suitable, including memory foam etc., but the most comfortable has been a water pillow; particularly as we sleep on a water bed. I recently had to return a hybrid bamboo memory foam pillow listed as 'perfect for side sleepers' as it was giving me neck pains. This is actually my third water pillow. The previous two (not this model I must add) developed leaks after 3 or 4 years and had to be replaced. I don't know if this is characteristic of water pillows or whether the previous ones were just not manufactured as well. This new one is definitely a different make so I'm interested to see how long it lasts. What I like about water pillows is that they support your head in any position, and you can adjust the firmness just by adding more water. I have mine about half filled with 2.5 litres which, combined with the inbuilt padding of the pillow, is a good height for me.Yes, water pillows are quite heavy items as other people have commented - remember, one litre of water weighs a little under one kilogram, so you need to be aware of that. They're also a little bit fiddly to fill. I find it easiest to support the pillow on a high stool next to the sink and fill it using a measuring jug. But they do provide excellent support if you suffer from neck pain.

Already broken after 13+ month - very disappointing
I had been using water pillows since 2008, and this one was for sure the shortest lasting of them all - just 13 1/2 month! For a price like that, and how carefully I always treat them, it's a poor result.I'm moving away from water pillows now - whilst they have been absolutely brilliant and I never had any neck pain, it's not worth it having to spend nearly 40 quid (or more) every year.

Reasonable pillow
Impossible to get the air out and not "stable" enough.Filled to medium but needed extra water to offer enough support. Once filled worked quite well but "glugs" when you move during the night which is distracting
