Wasn't sure which door bar to buy based on varying dept needed. Fitted yesterday between tile and laminate, the depths varying between 1.5 and 1.9, and its left no obvious gaps somehow which is great. Cut nicely with a fresh hacksaw and a quick file to smooth the edges. Very solid and high quality, it is very smooth on the slant with slight indents for grip on top and looks excellent. Only been fitted a day but the glue strip seems very secure, prepared to use no nails but feel it might not be needed. Not the cheapest but quite a bit cheaper than others I consdered, I definitely made the right choice.
