good cables
as it's said, you can buy cheap cables or you can buy good cables...these are definitely good, though the price is good, too. I use the right angle jack on the guitar input, as it creates a more streamlined fit against the body. I'll keep this brand in mind if I need more.

Apparently as good as their cases
I have been using Gator cases for more than 20 years, but I don't recall using one of their cables before. The first thing I always check on cables is the ends, outside and inside. The connectors seem to be good quality and I like that rubber/PVC extra reinforcement that protects the cable near the connectors, especially when the cable is hanging from an instrument or device. Regarding the interior, I wasn't able to see the weldings since they are covered by the same rubber/PVC, but I am sure they are good. It also includes two velcro cable ties (super useful if you are organized).I tested this cable by connecting a guitar to an interface, and it performed very well. I didn't notice any noise or static. FYI, I am a fan of the right angle instrument cables, especially when using them for drum pads. This Cableworks Backline Series instrument cable is an excellent option if you are looking for good quality and enough length in a low budget.

What's to say? Takes sound signal from over here, puts it over there...
The media could not be loaded. I've been playing guitar off and on for many years. I started out with mostly longer (20-25ft) cables, figuring if I only had one set, I'd rather have a set I could use for larger and smaller stage setups (even if it wasn't ideal for smaller ones) rather than one that just didn't work for larger setups. I ordered this 10ft instrument cable to start filling in a 2nd set with shorter cables. When I received the cable, I put together the test setup in the attached picture. The idea was simplicity; I could've set up for direct digital recording and all that, but it'd just add a bunch of unwanted variables when all I wanted to show was whether this cable would deliver the sound from the guitar to the amp without a bunch of noise and such. The recording was made with a cellphone camera, which does limit the final sound quality, but hopefully it comes through well enough to convey what I heard - a faithful amplified signal from the guitar. (I did confirm that the camera couldn't pick up the sound directly from the guitar by playing a bit with the guitar output volume at 0, so what you hear is the amplified signal only; I didn't include that part of the recording because it would just be a silent and stationary picture of the cable plugged into the amp.)Now, I know audiophiles who seem to have a more selective sense of what sounds "good" than I do; I can tell if the sound generally is good and if there are obvious problems, but folks like that either can discern differences I cannot, or are crazy. I can't say how they would rank a cable like this, though a little digging around does suggest that the brand is generally well-regarded (albeit considered entry-level).So bottom line: I'm happy with the cable and would not hesitate to add more to my collection (or to recommend it to others who want a nice, simple instrument cable that isn't outrageously priced).

nice guitar cable for the money
The cable i had prior to this one was giving me static and i couldn't figure out why at first. Then i switched to this one. It's much cleaner. This is a well made cable that has taken a little bit of trowing around without issues. Great price for the size. Was very pleased with the sound quality.
