3D Printer Resin Vat with Silicone Lid, Durable Aluminium Alloy Resin Tank with FEP Film & Aluminum Rings Preinstalled for ELEGOO Saturn 2 Saturn 3 Saturn 3 Ultra Anycubic Photon Mono M5s/M5

I have an Anycubic Photon Mono and these fit fairly well in place of the original vat. Much stronger material, and the benefit of being able to change the film is awesome. But be careful when unscrewing the screws as they strip very easily. Using the hex tool included with the vat, I stripped one of the screws the very first time I removed the plate. It is possible that the screw is simply installed too tightly or it could be that the hex tool included is slightly too small for the screw head. Fortunately I purchased the two pack so I could just go to the next vat and I will have to contact customer care to see if they have screws available. Not a really big deal just pretty annoying. For the most part all of the Sovol products that I've purchased have been really good! These vats are certainly a much better value for the money then buying the vats that are necessary for the Anycubic Photon Mono since you cannot just replace the film alone on that printer's vat.

The construction of this vat is very good, nice aluminum with volume markings on the back and a perfect fit on the Photon mono. The FEP is clean and clear, well mounted and ready for the printer. The cover is a nice snug fit which will keep the resin clean and prevent evaporation very well. Good price when looking at other options and great to have the extra vat so you can don't have to empty each time you change colors. I plan to purchase another of these so I can keep several colors available quickly!

I bought this as a replacement vat for my anycubic resin. Printer, fit perfectly and with the very convenient marked measurements it is very functional and very durable. Easy to set up and a great price.

For the price I really like this resin vat, it fits well looks good, works well and the included silicone lid is a nice plus... I took 1 star off for two reasons, one the little rubber feat on the bottom fall off, I had to glue them in place... Not a big deal but annoying just the same... The other issue could be a quirk, but after only a few prints the FEP developed a few ripples... This could have been a printer issue so I'm not going to blame it on the vat itself, but this brings up the next issue, upon changing the FEP it was quite a task, the screws that hold the FEP frame to the well are quite short, making it difficult to get them started... Luckily I had some slightly longer screws on hand and used those to get the FEP frame started, once it was started and seated a bit in the vat, I replaced those screws with the included ones...

I didn't set out to buy a pair of resin vats when I was ordering supplies for my Elegoo Mars, but I'm so glad I did. I hate cleaning the tanks to switch resins, so I'd try to print everything with one color before finally getting to the point where it didn't work anymore. This basically solves that problem. Now I can swap out resins quickly without having to clean the tank each time. This purchase was more than worth it! Of course, you have to be careful when moving them because the resin can still slosh around and spill. Don't do like I did and forget about that part, or you'll be scraping resin off your workbench for ages. Like others have said, the silicone covers don't fit the Mars tanks because they're smaller than the stock tank. That was only slightly annoying because I didn't have a cover for my Mars tank, but I can probably get covers for that one elsewhere or just print one with my FDM printer. The only thing I would change about this is I wish the bottom covers were more rigid. Then I'd feel more comfortable setting them down on my storage racks without worrying that the FEP film might get pressed on the wrong way. Of course, I guess I can just print a tray to set them on.

**UPDATE- After reinstalling factory FEP due to poor QC leaving on protective film... Print was a success... With the great expense of a massive resin seepage. This vat is not able to reinstall/tighten used FEPs. A hair sized ridge at the corner caused by the FEP being originally stretched with the protective film and now being without it, resulted in a narrow passage for the build plate to pump out resin on each depression. I wish I would have used this vat when I initially purchased it so that I could return it. I bought more FEP and have been successful with the fresh install and not had any leaks, I did not purchase the Sovol film because I have lost faith in this company. The biggest issue I have is shown in the picture. The FEP was installed from the factory with the protective coating meant for shipping the individual sheets of FEP still adhered and bolted in with the vat... I didn't realize this until after the first print failed and I saw a wrinkly surface. Figured either the FEP was the worst quality ever made, or more than likely it was installed without taking of the film. Beyond that big glaring issue, the quality of the frame is great, would prefer the older 2 piece style... I haven't placed a new piece of FEP in this, but retightening the messed up factory FEP wasn't inspiring for the future.

I purchased a used mono 4k from Facebook. Once I tried to use it I discovered some issues. One was it had a screen issue the other was a broken vat liner. The fep is not designed to be replaced on the stock unit. This solvo unit fit the bill. It's set up to use cheap replacement screens rather then using a new vat. I liked it well enough I bought 2 one for abs like resin and the other for normal resin so I don't have to clean them as often. And it has the silicone caps to keep debris out of the tray and protect the liner on the bottom. Highly recommend. And it fit my mono 4k just as good as the original

I like to jump between resins for different applications, its great to be able to pop the included lid on and sit it in a UV proof area. Good quality aluminium vat. standard FEP mounting ring. good markings for resin volume. No real negatives.

Great value for money. Way better for my mono than the stock options.

I was given a Photon Mono for Christmas, I could only find replacement FEPs on the Anycubic site. They weren't too expensive the shipping costs were really high. So I found this resin vat which: 1) fits my Mono 2) is made of higher quality materials (solid aluminium Vs plastic) 3) has good availability for replacement FEPs 4) costs less than 2 replacement FEPs and shipping from the official manufacturer I've done a few prints from it and have had no problems with them, and the covers are a really good idea. If you have a Mono, I can't think of a reason why you wouldn't get one if these.
