My dad has always loved his marranitos, the popular mexican gingerbread piggies, and I wanted to give them a shot since I've made conchas in the past, but figured these would be easier. I make gingerbread cookies most christmases, so figured it shouldn't be much different. I bought both the piggy and bunny versions.First thing I noticed is that while the largest size isn't quite as big as marranitos are in most panaderias, it's not too far off, either. He rarely eats a whole one & it generally takes him two or three sittings to dust off a whole one, so the options seemed great to me. I've made a few batches now & they've gone over wonderfully. Now he can take one of the smallest sizes and eat the whole thing as an almost bite-sized snack or one of the second to smallest if he's feeling a bit more peckish, but none of them go to waste or are left partially eaten. Extended family also loved the size choices, so this was a brilliant purchase. Now I only crank them out in the smallest two sizes & treat them like bigger teddy grahams. Overall, the size options are great and they are easy to keep clean & then store back in the box all nested together.

I used one of the larger cutters to cut bread slices and make bunny sandwiches for my one year year-old granddaughters birthday party. Super cute!

These cookie cutters are so cute. The metal is soldered well and there is a lip around the edge where your hand goes for steady cutting. Just a little warm, soapy water and they are clean. I've washed them and have not noticed any rust which is a definite plus.

Such a cute little carrot! I only plan to use the middle sizes, but the 4 pack was cheaper than other single carrot cutters I found.
