These worked great for my key when it died. I have always just gone back to the dealer but these worked perfect.

Mine included some tools for opening the key fob which were unnecessary. The whole procedure can be done without specialized tools. I got this battery because the previous cheap Chinese replacement batteries I got lasted for all of two months before dying. So far these are working well. I will update if there are any problems. Minus 1 star for including tools that weren't needed. We have enough plastic waste as is.

I was worried I will have to be without a car-key/remote for a while, but the batteries arrived quickly, it was easy to replace the depleted one with the new one. Before I knew it, I was back in business. Very happy with my purchase. Now I have an extra battery for ny husband's remote, which I am sure will be needing one soon.

The battery in my keyfob died. This kit made changing the battery so easy. There is a tool that popped the fob open without any effort at all. The tiny screwdriver helped pop out the battery so that I could slide the new one in place. Everything snapped together and I was done with this project in under 45 seconds. I highly recommend this kit as it made this task incredibly easy. Pay attention to the model year. If your Mazda was produced prior to 2019, it likely uses a CR2025 battery instead of the CR2032 batteries provided in this kit. The kit contains two batteries. My particula Mazda 3 fob only uses one so I now have a spare. Perhaps fobs for other models or model years need two? Don't forget to recycle your dead lithium battery instead of pitching it. For safety, put some tape around the battery to prevent electrical fires. Check for recycling options near you. Some public libraries collect them as a service. I drop mine off in a bin at Lowe's.

There’s not a lot to say about a lithium button–cell battery as long as it works fine, and this one does. After installing this one, I was again able to lock and unlock my car from a distance. The plastic opening tool and screwdrivers are a nice addition, although I have uses my Swiss Army knife bottle opener in the past, and it worked fine as well.

While these may be the Original Equipment Manufacturer Batteries, there is little difference between these and any other CR2032 battery on the market except for the opener and the packaging. A test on the voltmeter came back at 2.98 volts, which is acceptable. While I would not normally recommend going against OEM parts, in this case I see little about this product that makes it worth the OEM added expense.
