Why did you choose this product over others?:I've given a 5 star rating due to the TOTAL LACK OF CHEMICALS , which is very impressive.Taste wise, it's OK, typical of a ready made sauce , it's not fine dining, but good value and zero chemicals

TERRIBLE PACKING
ORDERED FOUR JARS WHEN ARRIVED THE BOX WAS BADLY DAMAGED AND THREE OF THE JARS HAD THE SCREW TOP UNDONE. i HAVE SOUGHT A REPLACEMENT OR REFUND AND BEEN REFUSED. i USED ONE OF THE OPEN JARS TONIGHT AND THE SAUCE IS GOOD, MANNER OF PACKAGING TO ALLOW CREW LIDS TO COME OFF IS SHOCKING!

Added to meat balls and slow cooked, came out well. A tasty sauce, tangy toms and lightly spiced.

Gross texture, half watery half thick, threw away most of it!
Personally I felt like you could tell that they'd used cheap ingredients as a person who sometimes struggles with food textures this triggered me! Lots of little hard bits of skin and who knows what in there, I wouldn't call it smooth at all. Couldn't taste the basil and it was very watery but also thick in some places. It was just really weird and disgusting to me. I don't like food waste but I couldn't eat my pasta even after chucking in a load of cheese and such. Also it says the main ingredients is tomatoes - ok amazon - but obviously tomatoes are mostly water. The main ingredient is water and it tastes predominately like it.
