Good value despite import duty
Ironic that the only way to buy this Italian-made dado in UK is to import from US! Initial impressions are favourable; tried on my radial arm saw without chippers or spacers in the first instance whilst waiting for clarification of the scanty instructions (not helped by the tiny print). The excellent case would be improved by labelling to show what goes where. I notice that the spacers are now labelled with their sizes. Four stars whilst awaiting response from Freud (didn't know the name is from FREsas of UDine) would probably change to five.

Faz dados com excelente qualidade e facilidade. Já usei em madeira dura, mole e compensado. Encaixou perfeitamente na minha Makita MLT100, porém é necessário fazer uma pequena inversão na porca de aperto, em caso de ranguras muito largas (tem vídeos na internet). Podem comprar pq vale a pena. Muito superior a uso de tupia de coluna.

This is my first dado set and I'm really pleased with its performance. I bought the 6" stack because of its high torque; my tablesaw is an old Rockwell Delta and somewhat underpowered. I've used the dado with ash, oak, and sheet goods and haven't had any issues of the saw "bogging down". The only downside of the 6" dado is the depth of cut. With my saw I'm unable to cut anything deeper than a 9/16" dado. Be sure to check the distance between your arbor and the surface of your table before you buy this product as this will affect the usefulness of the dado. I noticed that some users complained about the squareness and smoothness of the dado cut. However I've found that I f you play around with the stack of the shims and chippers, the dado will produce an excellent cut ready for glue up every single time. Play around with the thicknesses and stack ups to find the best possible cut, and record everything for quick setup the next time.

Wow, this set is amazing. I've been using a less expensive set for a few years with so so results. Not my dados are crisp and clean. So glad I spent the extra dollars. Thank you!
