Charged the new battery and after taking only 12 pictures it has no charge is it faulty?

Yes, I am able to get about 150 pictures per charge on my set. I'd contact customer support.

Are these batteries approved for carry on luggage on commercial passenger flights?

They seem to be. I have taken mine through US, UK, French, and Italian security points.

On the charger display, the battery is only charged up to 3 bars not 4. Is this normal?

I don't think so. I would suspect, (1) that you didn't leave it on long enough. (2) that you have a bad battery or (3) the charger is malfunctioning. Have you tried another battery?? Have you left it on charge for as much as 24 hours?

Will the usb cable fit the sony dsc-wx0 cybershot camera?
