Roboto Ronin jackstand lamp with VW hubcap shades

These table lamps would happily serve motorheads and sci-fi enthusiasts alike. They would work well on a desk, but also on a nightstand or a side table for reading, or as a bright spot on a bar or counter. Each is made from an old jackstand and a vintage Volkswagen hubcap. I repainted the stands in flat black. Then had the hubcaps sandblasted to remove the rust and loose plating before painting them a glossy purple outside and matte silver inside. Each has a double socket, teeny VW pull chain ornaments, and a stylish chrome acorn nut finial. Each comes with two bulbs. Adjustable to three heights.
