My kid loves it!
My kid loves playing with this toy. It’s very well - made, neither cheap nor flimsy, and is worth owning.I asked him for his likes and dislikes, and here’s what he said.LIKES: easy and fun to play with; looks cool; works great; feels nice in the hands; has a nice weight to it; has a cool battery - operated light, and the battery lasts for a long time; fires many rounds.DISLIKES: Nothing! He said that this is now his favorite toy.

You guys! This is so friggin' cool!!
Okay so first let me just say, I am a 36 year old man and I bought this for myself and not an 8 year old kid. When I was younger, I always wanted cool things like Nerf guns, but my parents never had the money to get me the real deal, so I would either get absolutely nothing, or very rarely I might get some knock off that wasn't very fun. This thing is the real deal. Anatomically, has a lot of similarities to a real rifle (collapsible folding stock, Picatinny rail, a laser AND a flash light that can be mounted to it, front and rear sights that can be mounted or left off, a scope that can be mounted, etc. It comes with two magazines that the manufacturer recommends loading to no more than 12 rounds -- but realistically you could fit about 17ish. There's even a safety mechanism. The manufacturer includes two types of "ammo" (hard cap at the front and suction cup at the front), and generously includes about 60 of each type (5 packs of 12 each), probably knowing that they'll get lost all over the place or the foam will tear over time. The battery does need to be charged first because there's a motor inside that helps fire the rounds when the trigger is pulled. I can't speak for the battery life or the longevity of this as a whole since I've only been using it today -- but oh my gosh it is SO much fun, even as an adult. My inner child is so happy to finally have a cool toy to play with.Seriously, if you were poor growing up, this is such a healing thing to treat yourself to. And if you weren't, consider getting this for a (responsible) kid in your life. You'll probably be their favorite dad/mom/uncle/aunt/whatever forever.I'm honestly surprised this was so cool. One piece of feedback to the manufacturer: the included instructions were helpful but they could have been a bit clearer in a few places. I wasn't sure if the bolt had any real purpose, for example, and it was really tricky to get in. It's also hard to take off the muzzle piece to recharge the battery, and some more clarity on mounting the mountable pieces, the differences with the different silencers, adjusting the laser, and replacing batteries in the laser and flashlight would be helpful too.

Loads of fun
We're having a blast with this. As opposed to the last type of blaster I was trying to play with, this one just works. No jamming, no failure to shoot, all fun.So first off we'll go over the bad. So unlike the sci-fi looking blasters, this one looks a bit too realistic. Which might be what you are looking for, but it's not ideal for children. I might be painting it or adding decals or something in the future. Also, there are so so so many accessories that you're supposed to put onto this guy that it becomes an unwieldy monstrosity. The optics aren't that useful. But it's a plastic foam dart blaster, you don't really expect these to work well and luckily, since it's modular, you can just remove anything you don't want. A+ design. The rechargeable battery inside needs to be fully removed to come out an recharge. Good design, since you can just replace it if it stops holding a charge, but disassembling the blaster to access the battery isn't self explanatory. There's a button on the side that doesn't really seem to do anything and if you press it and try to pull the front off it doesn't seem to want to budge. But you just go with your instinct, you need to push that down and pull harder than you'd expect. So after figuring out that the button does in face work and the front IS supposed to come back off, it's easy to do again and I won't ding it for that now that after doing it once, it's a non-issue. Also, the darts are tiny and not interchangeable with any other foam blaster I've seen.So the good. It looks cool. The accessories, the scope, the sights, the targeting laser, the flashlight, they're all cool. Only the laser pointer and the flashlight are useful. But for kids, it's all gravy. The darts are a weird half size, but this makes them less likely for kids to complain about them hurting and it also seems to make the flywheel system launch them without stressing out. It's semi-automatic. Kids want that full auto, but the last one my kid used was full auto and it didn't work. I'd take this firing every time over the automatic one having an insane failure rate. No stress. No kids calling you over every 5 minutes crying that it won't work followed by you taking the toy apart to fix yet another jam.5/5 The kids love it. I love being able to focus on my kids having fun and playing with them and not having to pull it apart every 20 minutes while a sad kid waits. There's a few feature concessions here, but I think in the end they're all more than worth it.

Great blaster with lots of cool accessories
My son loved it. It shoots fairly hard and accurate at 10 yard plus distances. If it becomes inaccurate, it's most likely due to the dart being bent or worn. No jamming issues. Battery lasts a long time. I would highly recommend. Just remember to order extra darts because it's easier to lose these small darts.

Kinda wish the real things had these kinds of features and versatility!
Awesome! All the different customizations you can make on the fly Make it a new experience every time. All the buttons and features function as they're supposed to. I feel like it was well made. The book that came with it is super strange though. It's worth a read if you want to laugh.Overall it's a lot of fun and any kids, young and old kids alike, will love this thing. Wouldn't mind having a few more.

Fun for the whole family
For the price, it is absolutely so much fun. Easy to assemble and easy to use. Definitely a good starter if you want to get into the airsoft scene. Works well, and feels built to last. Definitely fun for all ages. Looks really good and shoots really well. Definitely good bang for the buck!
