You can not adjust if you get it on to tight.
This product was not misrepresented. However, I did not clearly understand that the mechanism that holds the ribbon on will not adjust. I now understand what it means, in the description, that it has to be cut off.

Came out perfect for party
The only reason I dinged a star is I had to pay extra to have it delivered on time. Thought the price was a bit much. BUT they were perfect and arrived on time.
