EK Success Stamp-A-Ma-Jig Stamp Positioning Tool, 5'' W x 8'' L

Love this stamp-a-ma-jig! So simple and easy to use. Has one side for water-based inks and one side for pigment-based pads. A must have for stamping with clear mount or wood mount sets!

This little low tech device helps me position my stamp accurately. There are 2 pieces that come with this.

I originally got this because I needed it for a project and I needed it fast. I normally use Stampin' Up products, and I know they have one of these, but I couldn't wait the time it would take to get that one, so I decided to try this one instead. While I was nervous at first, once I got this, I could not have been happier.This item comes in two parts; the clear plastic piece and the hard plastic anchor. Even though it doesn't seem like something with two parts would be that complicated, I had to have someone explain it to me a few times when I first used it a few years ago. I'm not sure the pictures would help someone who has never seen or used something like this before, but then again, I sincerely doubt someone would pick up a stamp-a-ma-jig without knowing what it is and instantly want to use it, so they might be safe there. The plastic cleans easily, and the anchor stays in place. It's really easy to use, and I loved being able to get it on sale.While this is primarily for wood block stamp use, it is also effective with clear stamps. I think this tool is absolutely essential for anyone wanting to stamp with accuracy.

I've been aware of this product for a couple years, but for some reason I thought it required a master's degree in engineering to use. NOT SO! You stamp an image on the clear sheet included in the product, position the sheet over your paper where you want the image to be stamped, line up the corner of the clear sheet with the corner of the gadget, remove the clear sheet, and put the stamp in the corner in place of the clear sheet. The sheet cleans easily and of course is reusable.Although I think it was designed to use with wood block stamps where placement is hit or miss. I can see where it will also be useful in placing cling and even clear stamps. I experimented with two wood block stamps and was able to stamp a dragonfly exactly where I wanted it on a flower.

If you use block stamps, this tool is a must have. So easy to use. Not only helps line up your stamp placement, you can stamp over with precision. Highly recommend.

tried making my own by cutting a notch in a piece of wood and using acetate. That works ok but I still wasn't happy with the results. This tool makes position in stamps much easier. This wouldn't work as well as the Misty 4 Double stamping for clear images but it has its uses. Like using the Imaging sheet to determine where exactly you want to stamp when you are having a hard time deciding on placement of your images.

Just got it and I love it! I thought it might be cumbersome to stop and line it up, etc. but it works very easily and it beats redoing a project because you've stamped it improperly! I have created several acrylic sheets for it by cutting up packaging from framelits, etc. Also bought a piece off acrylic at Home Depot for less than $3. I cut it into four using a t-square and a utility knife. Just be sure to cut 90 degree angles so you will be lining up correctly!

This would have worked great for me if the one I ordered here came with the acrylic stamping guide. I didn't even know it came with one until I keep seeing and hearing people talk about it on YouTube. Mine must have been a used one and I wasn't aware lol.
