I was an Old Spice guy for a million years but the revelation that most plastic doesn’t and hasn’t been recycled weighed heavily on my soul. I started to wonder if the garbage patch was starting to be tinged a little red from all my deodorant and body wash containers. So I ended up ditching the body wash for bar soap which reduced my plastic consumption quite a bit but I was still painting my underarms with a plastic container of deodorant to the tune of 2 or more a month. Then my sweetie found a little cardboard container of HiBar bergamot and cedar which I loved! So I started painting my underarms with it and smelled good and it worked better than Old Spice! After a while, though, I found that my shirts were getting stained and my undershirts started smelling like candle wax. I had to use super hot water in the wash cycle to get it out and I was getting bummed at the staining on my cotton shirts. I was going through a container a week and I smelled kinda like a candle and so I started looking for another plastic free deodorant option. During my search I read more about HiBar and it said to only use two or three swipes to apply it. That was the breakthrough for me! Having used Old Spice my whole life, I was quite used to using a ton of it and my mistake was that I thought you had to use all deodorants that way. You don’t. Just use two or three swipes. That’s it. Have faith in it. You don’t need to paint this stuff on. Just make a Netflix ‘N’ under your arms and you will smell good, not like candle wax, your shirts won’t get stained and you won’t go bankrupt because a container will last you many weeks, which makes it a good value. This deodorant is great! First of all, it actually works! 12h+ of protection. It is so delicate on the skin it is a pleasure to use. Love the smell too (I got the coconut vanilla). Non sticky, doesn’t stain clothes, dries immediately, no aluminum or other irritant.

Honestly this is one of the best all natural deodorants I have tried. If you are into using products without phthalates and harmful chemicals you know that there simply isn't a deodorant that's truly all natural and will last 24 hours (if you found one, please share your secret). But compared to many other brands I actually like this one, it lasts a few hours if I'm active and could last all day if it's not super hot. Otherwise I have to refresh after running/working out or half way thru the day on a hot day ( but I experience the same with other all natural brands) The consistency is a bit thick and it takes a bit more time to wash it off. I love this fragrance of vanilla/coconut but I am thinking of trying some of their other scents to see if they are stronger and possibly last longer!

I'm really happy with this plastic-free deodorant. Smells fresh (eucalyptus mint), works great (I smell good all through my climbing sessions and yoga classes), and the ingredients are natural. I love that I'm not wasting plastic and transitioning all my body care products to plastic-free. I look forward to trying other scents, too.

This didn't apply smoothly- almost felt scratchy. It could be due to the ingredients, it was just something I was not used to. This will go bad after sometime, again due to the ingredients. I like a natural deodorant, and this one did its job.
