Works well for a while, but like everyone else is saying, they do break and crumble very easily. Maybe they will last if you're very careful to be gentle with them. They certainly don't last long in a commercial setting.

Soft and grippy, but VERY brittle.Definitely NOT for a public door. I've used all ten in a year. A couple were broken by louts within 24 hours, most lasted longer.The screws included do not fit Deltana 5" doorstops, slightly finer thread pitch. Re-use your old screw.Had to trim off part of the back to make the shoulder fit flush.May work well in a private dwelling where one could be mindful. Even so, wear is not an issue as these will surely break before they wear out.

These rubber stoppers are cheap, but not made to last. It breaks in half (where the fat part and the skinny insert meets very easily. I agreed w/ the other shoppers that its made of brittle rubber. I used up all 10 fast and I am going to shop for another brand

I have a drop down door holder between the garage and the house. The old rubber tip had worn away so that the door wouldn't stay open where you put it. The door would scoot along the wood floor and end up closing. I tried using rubber chair leg covers and they didn't work well because they weren't ribbed on the bottom to grip the floor. These replacement tips work perfectly.

They break easily, I replaced for 5 doors 2 of them brook in 2 weeks. They may be too soft.

This product was needed for a frequently used door. it arrived in a timely manner and was exactly what I needed. The description was good and easy to understand. I was also happy it came in a multipack instead of just one tip.
