Best mint yet - tastes better than competitors - must have more peppermint oil - reminds me of the old roll of peppermints 40 -50 years ago…

I bought these Zellie's mints in the hope that using them will help my oral health. I bought the set so that I can have different flavors to choose from. This last February and in February of the 2 previous years, following my yearly dental x-rays, I have had to have cavities fixed -- in spite of being quite religious about brushing and flossing my teeth, not drinking sugared drinks, not eating much candy, etc. I have read that scientific studies have confirmed that xylitol candies or gums reduce plaque on teeth and harmful oral bacteria. One dentistry professor has advised using candies or gums with 100% xylitol 4 to 5 times throughout the day. That is what I've been doing. My mouth has been feeling cleaner as a result. I'm hoping that next February I won't have cavities, but only time will tell.
