Well let me break this down a bit in hopes I can teach you something you may not have known and help you with your buying decision. ————————————————————— Product Information: ————————————————————— • Whey Isolate - it's important to realize that not all forms of whey protein powder are created equally. Whey protein isolate is the most complete forms of protein because it contains the greatest protein concentration coming in at 90-95%, while the rest of the whey protein powders range from 25-89% total protein content. Isolate contains the lowest level of lactose, so perfect for anyone that is lactose intolerant. Benefits of Whey Protein include: helps support a healthy immune system, supports heart health, helps with maintaining a healthy body weight & composition, promotes muscle growth, loss of body fat, reduces the risk for breast cancer in women, helps control blood glucose levels & helps prevent muscle & bone loss older adults. Whey Protein, more specifically Whey Isolate is extremely important, for those reasons. Remember that protein is the building blocks of muscle. If you are dieting or looking to bulk up, Whey protein is your best friend because it provides your body with all of the amino acids it needs to promote ideal health results from workout/training, it's low in calories, carbohydrates, fats, cholesterol & very convenient. The more protein you eat the more muscle & if you are dieting you will be able to keep more muscle. • Why Whey isolate over a Whey concentrate? Whey concentrates are about 80% protein and are the most economical per gram of protein. Most people buy whey concentrates. The remaining 20% is junk you are adding to your body such as FAT!!! Now, Whey isolates are about 90%-95% protein, making them even lower in fat, carbs and lactose. Whey isolates tend to have a slightly cleaner taste, a more watery consistency, and are more expensive than whey concentrates. —————————---------———————————— PROS: ———-----———————————————————— • This is 100% Whey Protein isolated. • I was offered the French Vanilla, which taste really good. • 4 flavors to chose from. • I purchased the 1.8LB but they also have a 5lb available. • I always make my shakes in a blender so mixability isn’t an issue for me but for the sake of this review, I mixed 2 scoops in a shaker cup with 8oz of Almond Milk & the mixablity was very good, which leads me to my next pro.. • This is absolutely 100% instantized! • Did NOT bother my stomach whatsoever, so has Digestive Enzymes which is extremely important for me. I have used this several times now & not once has my stomach been all jerked up! • This is Ultra-Filtered & any top of the line Whey would make sure the Whey is carefully micro-filtered or Ultra-Filtered to remove any harmful bacteria. The Whey will pass through a special micro-filter & immediately after, bacteria & spores are separated. This process also separates any denatured (altered/cooked) whey proteins from undenatured proteins so that the result is a high quality whey protein rich in alpha-lactalbumin and beta-lactoglobulin (two special proteins found in whey that have immunological benefits) and low in fat. Un-denatured whey proteins obtained in this manner also have better solubility, which means it dissolves easily in any fluid added to it. • 22g of protein per scoop which is a the standard amount. • 2g of carbohydrates which is VERY low. • I spoke to an associate at Legion & I found out they get their Whey from Glanbia is the #1 global nutrition company. • Hormone free. • Pesticide free. • NON GMO. • Gluten free. • Sugar free & No Sweetener (Uses Stevia). • Made right here in the good old USA for those who want & try to support this country. ————————————————————— CONS: ————————————————————— • They do not list down the Whey protein micro-fractions & do not even list the breakdown of any of the nutrients! Why do I think this this important? As many of you know, I am not a fan of supplement companies not fully disclosing ALL their nutrients or listing them as a proprietary blend. I want to know exactly what I am putting into my body as should you! With that said, Whey protein is not one single protein, it is several different types. During the process of making a bucket of way, a lot of protein can be denatured which means it could lose a lot of different types of proteins —————————————---———————-— Final Assessment: ——————--———————————--———— • So I am extremely impressed with this “Legion Whey Protein Powder”!!! They hit a home run with this product. The PROS I listed are amazing, to say the least & the CONS I listed are really no big deal-breakers at all! I am really did enjoy the taste of this french Vanilla. • I mentioned at the top of this review, I use and have used the best brand & I have to say, I still will never stray BUT, I will definitely add this one to my purchase list when I want to change things up.… it is that good & I NEVER said this about any others Whey Protein Brands & i’ve had some good ones. —————————————---———————-— Personal Note: —————————————---———————-— • Buying a respectable brand is actually extremely important because many companies are selling a container of Whey Protein Concentrate as isolate & unless you ran a analysis on it or really know your proteins, you probably wouldn't even know you were using a cheap form of WPC until you started gaining body fat, started feeling bloated, getting gas, etc., and not getting the results you wanted from using this stuff. You would be surprised at how many companies do this! I’ve tried a lot of protein powders over the years, but LEGION Whey+ in French Vanilla really stands out. The flavor is rich and naturally sweet without being overpowering—perfect on its own or blended into smoothies. What I love most is how clean the ingredient list is—no artificial junk, and it's sourced from grass-fed cows. It mixes easily with water or milk and doesn't leave a chalky aftertaste. I’ve noticed better recovery after workouts, and it’s gentle on my stomach, too. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a high-quality whey that tastes great and supports your fitness goals.

French Vanilla does not dissolve. Ive used a shaker and a blender. No matter what I do it is clumpy. Peanut butter chocolate! Amazing! I will be going back to that one next. Tastes good. Good Value. This is told to have legit protein. (not nitrate loaded). Will keep buying.

great protein powder, i’ve switched from regular whey to isolate as normal whey was breaking out my body. this one doesn’t. great flavor and value. minus one star because i hate hate hate the bag design and wish it came in a tub or really anything else. it doesn’t seal very well & is messy.

This tastes amazing! I can’t believe this is even a protein powder, it’s so indulgent and creamy. I'm normally a chocolately flavor person but I thought I would try this out so I can have with my fruity smoothies! SO good!! This one is definitely added to that list of delicious options!

I drink protein to build muscle not because I want a milkshake and to pretend I’m being healthy. I want my protein to mix well, not taste disgusting and to be high quality so I’m fairly easy to please. This protein is high quality so I gave it a try and I regret that decision. First the resealable bag for not reseal. It’s cheaply made and will not, under any circumstance, reseal. Second, the taste - insane amounts of stevia are in this product. It’s truly awful. I would never recommend this product nor ever buy it again.

Came in a good condition

I bought this because it was one of the few 'cleanest' protein isolates available. It grass fed, non antibiotic etc... It has good high protein. I don't have a sweet tooth so found it very sweet but not 'saccharine'y'. I mix it with another unsweetened one I bought to balance the sweetness. It mixes well without clumping. Have used it only for a couple of days but I think it works. Unbeatable fantastic price on save and subscribe!

Excellent product especially combined with creatine

This is by far, the best protein I have ever tried. Yes, it is a bit expensive, but they use so little and natural ingredients that it is worth it. A lot of protein brands use Sucralose which is an artificial sweetener, and although it is only a little (or should be), the products taste too sweet. Legion on the other hand only uses Stevia, a natural sweetener. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this vanilla flavour doesn't taste too sweet. Almost every vanilla flavour I have tried is way too sweet, but this one isn't. I especially admire how they use transparency on all their ingredients and practices. It's good to know that it's 3rd party tested as well. All in all, even though it is a little pricey, if you can find it on sale I would definitely recommend it!

Excellent protein powder. High quality grass-fed milk from Irish dairy farms. I only wish they had fully eliminated maltodextrin from all their formulations. Correspondence with customer service indicates they are phasing it out. Flavour is excellent, ,albeit a bit too sweet for my taste. But you can compensate via dilution. Finding high quality grass-fed and naturally flavoured , clean protein powders in Canada is surprisingly difficult. This is my go-to protein of choice. Their casein is also excellent.
