Arti AR-02 Sliding Door Wardrobe 250cm [Oak]

I don’t usually review my purchases but I am so chuffed with my new wardrobe that I thought I would! It has made such a difference to my bedroom. It’s a great piece of furniture - sturdy, heavy duty, looks fantastic when built, the mirrors are great, all good quality and lots of space for clothing. This is a great piece of furniture for the price. I’ve given it five stars because it really does deserve it. Some realistic expectations for building it from my view: some parts are very heavy so you will need at least two people to put this together; some heavy lifting is involved; the picture instructions are generally fine but sometimes not as clear as they could be; it took us four to five hours to build. Finished product looks amazing and I would highly recommend. Thank you so much!

Love it Was delivered early , and on time when texted the slot. Mick and dean were ace very friendly, helpful. Checked over the wardrobe with me to make sure it wasn’t damaged. Now, the wardrobe it’s self is very well built It’s deffaintely not your Argos special. Edges are flush when screwed just overall really good quality. Putting it together is a bit hard especially if your short on space so keep that in mind. It is heavy and can be awkward to put things into place so 2 people is deffaintely recommended. Instructions can be a bit pain to follow at times but can be followed , just take your time to read through the steps prior to assembling each part. I’d recommend setting about 3/3.5 hours aside to get it al up, may be another hour on top if your going at it alone. definitely worth the money and it really does look good.

This review is for the 2.5 meter wide 3 door version. The finished product looks good, is very sturdy and provides loads of storage. The wardrobe is made of chipboard with a oak effect laminate - its looks realistic. The product description states its made of wood which is a little misleading - chipboard is not the same as wood. The headline description says shetland OAK which it certainly is not - "Shetland OAK effect" would me more accurate. Despite the misleading description is still purchased the wardobe knowing exactly what I was getting because the same wardrobe is on sale from multiple vendors - some of whom give an accurate description but others are evn more misleading. Amazon was cheaper than most but not the cheapest - but I trust Amazons customer service. If you are not satisfied you can return it for a refund - BUT - the seller does not offer any returns service so it would be down to you to get it back to Lincolnshire. You can add extra hangling space by buying extra rails from screwfix or wherever. Delivery was mad by 2 polite people who delivered at 6:30 am (adnavce notice given). They were carefull and opened the door boxes to ensure the mirrors were unbroken. Delvery is to ground floor unless you pay extra. Each box was so heavy that 2 people would be needed to lift it up stairs. I opened the boxes downstairs and carried the items up one by one. Assembly instructions are pictorial but easy enough to follow. I followed the advice and checked and counted ALL the items before assembly which took an hour. I also identified all the large panels and labelled them before assembly - its a good idea to do this as identification needs some detective work. The leaflet says assembly takes 2 hours which may be possible if you have done it before - 3-4 hours is more realistic. 1 person can assemble it up to a point but once you start putting the major peices together you rally do need 2 people. The finished wardrobe (without the doors) is VERY heavy and very difficult to move on a carpet. There are little round plastic feet that fit on the base but it may be better to leave this off on a carpeted floor. Getting it against the wall required a very hard push because the carpet gripper creates a lip which the wardrobe bumps in to. As a final note, if ever you move house, the wardrobe would need to be dissembled. The size and weight would be too much to mover otherwise. Even re-decorating the room would be a problem because its soo hard to move. In conclusion, I'm reasonable satisfied but had I known of the weight, I think I might have instead purchased a build it yourself system from the likes of screwfix. It would then be built in so need to ever move it and in any case the weight would be far less.

Brought this chest of drawers and 2 bedside cabinet. They look amazing. Very robust and strong. 2 2 days to build them all up but worth it. Service was superb couldn't fault. Kept informed order was being prepared, then dare of deliver ( a week early) night before exact time of delivery. Driver was very polite but was on his own . These were very heavy items and came on own as mate ill so not to cancel. Hubby gave him a hand.

Assembly is a two-person job (one tall and strong helper recommended) and takes about 8–10 hours, but the final result is definitely worth it!

I needed a wardrobe for one of the bedrooms, and this looked to fit the bill. I placed an order, and was impressed by the number of text messages that advised me of the delivery date and time. The wardrobe duly arrived very promptly within the time window and with no damage whatsoever. Construction went smoothly and I'm absolutely delighted with the end product. It looks great. Here are a few tips though: (1) the flat packs are very heavy so you'll need a helping hand (2) there are a large number of components - I used old Chinese boxes to separate them out. Less haste, definitely more speed! (3) study the instructions carefully and do have a magnifying glass handy just in case, as some of the illustrations are a bit small (4) get one or two friends to help you with the final stages of piecing the components together. This is not a job that one person can do!
