Fully install item otherwise it may overheat and burn out!
PROS: Worked great (the second time!) The A/C in my truck ONLY worked when I cranked my airflow to HIGH. My blower did not turn on at all in LOW or MEDIUM mode. After replacing the blower motor resistor, my A/C worked splendidly. CONS: I found out that the resistor needs to be fully installed in the blower, otherwise it overheats and burns out within about 5 minutes. Due to user error, I burnt out my first one and had to buy it again because I didn't fully install it in the air duct. But I learned something! The part gets hot rather quickly and requires airflow across it to keep it cool. My A/C has been running just fine for several months now. Still, this DIY project saved me at least $200 from taking my truck to a mechanic. It was a bit tricky removing and installing the part. I watched a YouTube video before I started. I recommend using a small wrench and socket set. A large wrench may prove to be too cumbersome due to the tight workspace.

High quality, quick fix, that saved big money
This was an affordable replacement for a 2012 F150 blower motor. The AC was only powering on at full blast, 4, and 1-3 were non-functional. This was a quick and easy install. Just a quick removal of the glove box, a few bolts, and a slide in and out of the blow motors. Perfect fit! It has been a few months now and it is still fully functional, all fan speeds working as they should. The air flow is appropriate for all speeds and works as expected. All in all, this was a good purchase for a good price, and it certainly saved me money on a quick 10 minute fix compared to taking the truck in. I would recommend this product!

Perfect Fit and Reliable Fix for Tacoma A/C
I recently installed the Marsflex blower motor resistor in my 2013 Tacoma with manual A/C, and I’m impressed by how well it does the job. The part fit perfectly, the included wire harness was exactly what I needed, and installation was straightforward—even in a hot engine bay the resistor sits neatly without interfering with anything. The A/C fan speeds all work smoothly, from low to high, without the hesitation or noise I had with the old resistor. It seems well-built and durable so far. For anyone needing a replacement resistor that matches OE specs and performs reliably, this is a solid choice.

Looked fine but didn't work as promised
I replaced my Blower motor resistor back in Sept. I thought I had a wiring issue but it was my blower motor resistor still. One of the connections which I believe is the grounding connection shows that on the inside of the connection block the plastic around the pin is melting. This means it is generating too much heat. I ran my multimeter over the wiring connection block in the truck and everything came back fine. I even checked ohms of the lines and they were all within acceptable norms for braided copper wiring some even better than normal for the 4 wires. I have to wiggle the connection block every couple days to get it to work, sometimes even multiple times a day if there is a lot of heat. On cold days it works better. I am going to order another company's and try their product out.

Replacement is better
This part is hard to find for my 2007 Silverado Classic. It went right into place during installation and fit perfectly. The build feels nice. The problem is the a/c blower would intermittently go out by 2nd day of using. It completely stopped working a few days later. I have requested a replacement in hopes that I just received a faulty part. I will update in a few days with the final outcome. UPDATE: Replacement is working well. No problems so far.
