Bought for my teenager who uses it skiing and mountain-biking. Did tons of research and went back and forth whether to buy this, a GoPro, or an Insta. Absolutely made the correct choice! Super durable, has all the technical bells and whistles, video quality is fantastic, battery is great, and got it at a great price. My kid was skeptical (as it wasn't a GoPro) at first, but he absolutely loves it. Great action camera!

Really impressed with this thing. It's small enough to just live in my pocket, which means I actually bring it places instead of leaving it at home. Footage looks great, sharp, smooth, no complaints. Easy to grab and start recording without fussing with settings. Does what an action cam should do.

The DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro has quickly become my favorite action camera. for a content creator, this is a quick way to get quick video with loosing quility or buying a second mirrorless camera— the image quality is crisp, vibrant, and handles low light far better than other action cams I’ve used. Shooting in 4K at 120fps is buttery smooth and perfect for capturing sports, travel, and cinematic slow motion. The stabilization is outstanding. Even when running, biking, or filming on uneven terrain, the footage looks steady and professional. Subject tracking works great too, keeping me in frame without constantly adjusting. I also love the dual OLED touchscreens. It makes switching between front and back views super easy, especially for vlogging. The interface is intuitive, and I was recording within minutes of unboxing. Another huge plus — it’s waterproof right out of the box, so no need for an extra case when filming underwater or in the rain. The compact design makes it easy to carry anywhere, yet it feels sturdy and durable.

Took this on my Big Island trip and it worked great. I used it for snorkeling and for watching manta rays at night, and the video quality was really solid in both situations. It’s easy to use, feels very well built, and held up great during the trip. Definitely happy with it.

I absolutely love this camera; its durability in and out of the water is phenomenal, as well as the audio quality and ease of integrating mics. I personally like a more colour-graded camera because I'm not huge on post editing, and this allows me to achieve that. I only have one battery and can take it out on days at sea and not worry about running out of juice. It's great value for money; I recommend it!

I've been using the original DJI Osmo Action since 2019, and it's been such a reliable camera that I hadn't felt the need to upgrade. However, the Osmo Action 5 Pro release finally convinced me, and I'm glad it did. The most immediately noticeable difference is the jump in image quality. The new sensor captures remarkable detail, and the 4K video at 120fps is incredibly smooth. The improved low-light performance is a huge benefit, primarily since I often shoot in less-than-ideal lighting. The color rendition is also more accurate and vibrant, and the wider dynamic range is a definite plus. The option for 4:3 capture provides greater flexibility in post-production, which I appreciate. RockSteady 3.0 is a significant step up from the stabilization of the original Osmo Action. It effectively eliminates even the most jarring movements, resulting in incredibly smooth and professional-looking footage. The dual touchscreens are a fantastic addition, making framing and adjusting settings much easier, especially when self-recording. The build quality remains robust, just like my original Osmo Action. I've used it in various conditions, including white water rafting and kayaking, and it's held up perfectly. The battery life is also a noticeable improvement, addressing one of my few complaints about the first generation. The DJI Mimo app is functional, but there's still room for improvement in user experience and feature set.

I wanted something simple to use to replace my old handycam that was used for family get togethers. I like to put the videos on DVDs to watch on the tv. I know, I'm a bit old school lol. Pros: The battery holds a good charge. It takes good quality video. It doesn't have a lot of buttons. Cons: It didn't come with a charger. I was told to just use my phone charger. It's pretty small and hard to hold on to. For what it is and the fact that it doesn't even come with its own charger, it seems a bit overpriced. If it holds up as long as my old handycam, it will be the last one I'll need to buy.

I bought the osmo action 5 pro DJI standard combo as I am a content creator and I was in a budget. This little camera is very compact and I can carry anywhere with me. Is waterproof. Has image stabilizatation. And the regular accessories. Is very versatile. And is affordable
