Real good entry level compression shorts, very comfortable, gym friendly, washes well, keeps you warm when you want to be warm and breathes well enough when you need to keep cool

Great fit (medium) and my phone felt very secure in the pockets, you hardly notice it whilst running.

The pocket is not good for holding your phone when running. The material is too elastic and has too much stretch in it, with the result being your phone moves too much when running. For holding other / smaller, lighter things, I suspect it would work. So long as you know the above, they would otherwise still be very good value for running, however unfortunately holding a phone was the core intent behind me buying these with the pocket.
