Great size and shine — perfect as props for our play!

I wanted these gold coins to make a pirates treasure chest for Halloween. I used a glue gun to attach them to a gold painted piece of Styrofoam in a staggered pattern and they worked perfectly. They made the chest look as though it was filled with coins and with the addition of some fake gems it was very convincing. I highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to play pirate.

Just fine for the price, for whatever reason silver coins are harder to buy than gold ones on Amazon and these seem to be one of the only options. A few were a bit scratched, and I was a little wary about not many reviews and them being mixed but I have to say I was completely satisfied. It's 100 plastic coins for a few bucks, I don't get where reviewers come from thinking they were going to get some high quality thing. It's a cheap plastic children's toy people, get a grip. They are about the size of a poker chip, cheap plastic that weighs next to nothing with an eagle on one side and a face profile on the other. Price struck me as a little high but acceptable, and seller delivered as promised. Met all of my expectations.

So, I suffered through so many listings to try to find the coins I was expecting when I searched 'pirate gold coins'. I found other listings to have rather dumb designs on them, like picture of a treasure chest on the coin, or a poor looking eagle, for america I guess. Pretty lame. These have a great design, not cartoony. I also needed a large amount. For 15 dollars, 200 coins seems fair. They're a little low quality in some ways but I feel that's expected for novelty pirate coins. Particularly, all the coins in one of my packs had undesirbale plastic sprues on every coin (See picture). I used a craft knife to shave off the extra plastic. There were also a number of coins with chopped paint or discoloration. Again, expected. I would give these 3.5 stars, and I do recommend them. My biggest regret is they don't seem to come in silver. I'm considering buying this again and spray painting them silver. Ah, and they look good in a chest.

We used the product for Easter decorations. The were as described and appropriate for the purpose in which we purchased them.

Ordered 6 of these packages. Advertised both on the description here AND on the bag itself that there are 100 pieces in each bag. Of the 6 packages, 2 had the correct amount. Of the 6 packages, 1 was over by 2 coins Of the 6 packages, 3 were under count (one came in at 87 coins, one at 94 coins, one at 99 coins) I bought this product assuming I'd get what was advertised -- 100 coins. I should have 600 plastic coins when in fact I have only 582. Some people might say, "enh. close enough!" But I bought these for use in my classroom thinking I'd get 600 plastic coins that I could split evenly between 6 lab groups with a procedure that starts off "Place 100 coins in a box..." The coins themselves are exactly what you'd expect. But I'm rather disappointed that if I want to be able to do the lab properly with my students I'll have to buy yet *another* package of coins.

My mother is trying to add layers of significant wedding anniversary dates after they had their 50th they were given all these gold fake coins and painted gold rocks. I had ordered these huge diamonds for their 60th diamond anniversary which they just had but we needed something for their silver 25th and the picture doesn't do these coins Justice they are very shiny and very beautiful and they worked out perfect for us

They work really well for my kids! They do loose a bit of their coloring if you try to wipe them off with clorox wipes, but if you need to sanitize them, use Lysol spray and let them dry on each side. I bought one package, and it wasn't enough, so I bought another one!
