When I first used these pans the food did stick to them. But strangely enough after the first use they are truly nonstick. They are so easy to clean, and light weight I believe they are a great value for the money. I do expect to have them for a very long time due to the quality and performance. Size and function is wonderful, no hot spots and ceramic non-stick surface cleans up easily, has been durable with several months of use. Cautionary tale: this is our second set after a visitor (caught in the act) used a Brillo pad and comet on the first one, after leaving it on the stove and overheating the pan… which loosens the bond between coating and metal substrate… and then using steel wool pad finished the job.

My old non-stick started peeling, so had to be replaced. Normally I would go with the cheapest, decently reviewed pan available, but this time I decided to spend just a little bit extra for something of a bit higher quality and these pans knock it out of the park! They have a really attractive look to them, they look like they are worth a lot more money than they are. As far as use goes, these heat up pretty evenly all over, there is a slightly warmer small patch directly in the center, but that is pretty much true for every pan under $100. As far as the 'non-stick' goes, these are absolutely incredible. Food will literally not stick in these pans AT ALL. I have even tried to get something to stick and it just wont. Though sometimes that will make flipping food squirrelly (was cooking some bacon the other day and had a piece go sailing off the side as I was flipping them because everything is so slick!!). On top of that, since everything has a hard time bonding to the pan, post-use cleanup literally takes seconds, just run some water with just a bit of soap...a few swirls with your sponge and its spotless! Only had for a month, so I cant attest to durability yet, but I cook a lot and have already made over a dozen meals in these to great success. Also, the instructions are adamant that you can use metal utensils in these, but I wouldn't dare use metal utensils on anything other than stainless steel. So thats really awesome if it indeed can withstand metal utensils, but ill never find out and dont really care to.

Food cooks really good in them. But then everything gets stuck and it's impossible to scrub off! It didn't get stuck in the beginning and then after about two months , they are a pain. And I have taken really good care of them. Definitely would not advise anyone purchasing them.

Love these pans! I really like how things don’t stick to them which makes cooking with them super easy and the clean up even easier! They work well and no issues with scratching. My first two pans lasted for years and was so happy to find them again for such a great price!

I was sooooooop careful and loving these Gotham pans until it started showing its true colors. I have updated my review from 1-Star to 5-Star. The skillets are definitely non-stick. Although I had issues with the non-stick coating; I truly appreciate Gotham for honoring the 10-Year Limited Warranty. Customer Service expedited my claim in 3 days. I received the replacement in a week from date of claim.

My wife and I cook everyday. Low fat cooking and we cook with gas. I liked these pans when we received them. I've cooked on them 3 times and unfortunately, even trying to scramble a couple of eggs or make an omelet in them is almost impossible. No matter what I would cook, EVERYTHING unfortunately would stick to these pans. Scramble eggs and 25% of your eggs are lost by sticking to the pan regardless of what type of cooking oil, spray, butter, etc. Low heat, high heat...pretty much everything stuck to it. And I shouldn't have to use a "scouring pad" (not metal) to clean a non-stick pan after breakfast. They look really nice, and seem well made, but the non-stick is a fail unfortunately.

This is my second delivery of Gotham Steel products. My first was a Christmas gift from my Son. That product (large double handled pot with glass lid) was stunningly accurate in its promises. Nothing sticks to the pot......not mashed potatoes not sticky pasta with cheese. Heats evenly, cooks evenly, and with cleanup so effortless, it makes me want to cook more! My brand new skillets are actually exciting to use. Scrambled eggs slid right out of the skillet. I deliberately fried burgers, where I usually grill them. I wanted to see how much they would stick or burn. That did not happen.....Yaaaayyyy!! Keep the products coming! I will continue to purchase and talk to others extolling their reliability and price point. Well done!

Very bad product, the "Non-stick" coating wears off in a few weeks. Do not buy this garbage.
