Who has used the robins egg color? Does it replace the soft green? Would it blend well with the soft blue and soft pink for baby afghans?

Yes it can blend well with the soft blue and the soft pink it's actually almost like blue with a slight green tint it's very pretty and it actually is a very bright color I happen to love it use it with your heart content

I am buying two packages of the 3 pack of caron simply soft yarn dark country blue. how can i be sure that both packages are the same dye lot?

Caron simply soft is a yarn made from artificial fibers so there are no due lots to it, every time you buy country blue no matter when or where it should be the exact same shade as every other skein of it you've bought.

Does anyone know how well this yarn color is for dolls? I want a yarn that is more skin colored for that

It’s a good ivory skin tone. No pink to it though more of a yellow undertone. Would be a decent choice but I’ve seen closer to skin tone yarns out there. I’d say this is like a tanned ivory color. It’s true to color on the pictures.

Is thus sift enough fir a baby blanket?
