I keep my car parked outside, so I needed a car cover to protect my car from tree sap and leaves during the fall and snow and ice during the winter.This product appealed to me because I didn't need a whole car cover; while those are good for storing your car for extended periods of time, I'll be taking mine out once a week or so. I also needed the back window clear so that my parking stickers would be visible.The product definitely does what it says. It's a good-sized cover that fits well over my sedan. Installation is fairly simple; you just place the car cover over your windshield and part of your hood, hook some nylon straps to your tire well, slip some covers onto your rearview mirrors like a glove, and make sure to wedge some flaps into your car door before you close it and lock it to prevent it from blowing away or from someone taking it.It does the job, and it does it fine. The reflective material on the outside will definitely reflect sun and UV away from the car, keeping the inside cool.My main problem with this product is that the product description doesn't quite match what I got. It says that there is "soft fabric" on the bottom layer to protect the car, but as you can see in my first photo, the material more resembles the kind of material you'd see in a cheap cloth cooler or a bag liner. I don't think it'll necessarily scratch your car, but it's not exactly what I was expecting.Similarly, the product page advertises five layers of material and "cotton padding". I'm sure if I cut the product open I'd see all five layers, but as you can see in the second picture, it feels quite thin so the "layers" are likely very, very thin. It did come vacuum sealed, so maybe over a few days it'll "puff" back out. But I'm not exactly holding my breath.Also, the magnets aren't particularly strong and probably won't hold against a very strong wind. But as long as you install it properly it shouldn't fly away or come apart.I'd say this is a 3 star product, but because it's inexpensive at only around $20, I'll bump it up a star. If you do buy it, just be sure to set expectations that you're not getting the most premium product here, but it does the job.

I AM THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED with this Car/SUV Cover! It fits my 2005 Chevy Traverse SUV PERFECTLY! It is easy to put on and it is secure with very little effort with the magnets and features of installation. I have never seen anything like this cover previously so I am thrilled to have found it and I cannot wait to use it this Winter especially and to NOT HAVE TO SCRAP THE ICE AND SNOW OFF MY WINDSHIELD! What a royal pain that is for all of us! So, I believe that this majorly INNOVATIVELY DESIGNED Car/SUV Cover for your windshield will be A GAME CHANGER as far as helping to keep Snow and Ice off your windshield, I am sure! This is made with High Quality material and workmanship and it is made to last and I think that it will easily endure all 4 seasons, including summer to deflect the sun from your dashboard. It's so easy to put on and I am so very happy that I ordered this Cover for my SUV and I think that anyone who purchases it will be equally as happy and thrilled with it as I am, so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

I got this for a minivan to keep the car cool and dust from accumulating during days I don't drive. It works well and is easy to put on quickly after I park. I just close the doors on the flaps and use a couple of large magnets at the bottom corners instead of the wheel elastic straps and it takes less than a minute. This 71" version completely covers my windshield past the edges. The only minor shortcoming is weak magnets along th bottom and top (one reason I add two of my own). Material is some kind of non-woven plastic material, but I've used a nearly identical cover and it's lasted months without any deterioration so I expect this to be the same (I upgraded to this one for its silver color and being wider). This is my third cover of this design, I like it so much for the other vehicles.

I don't have any snow yet, but I do have a lot of small flower petals that drop from the trees. I got this cover to prevent those from going in my vents and also to block the sun from the windshield.This cover is very easy to install (I have a 2005 Silverado Crew Cab). The magnets seem to hold it in place (I haven't had any big winds) and also the tabs that get trapped in the door frames. This also has 2 stretchy hooks that I clipped onto my wheelwells. Lastly, it has mirror pockets to protect the mirrors and also to help hold the cover in place. So far I'm very happy with this.
