The herbs arrived in a flat vacuum packed bag so I had to shake them loose to use them but they smell really good. There was small twigs in the bag which I figure must be lavender and they needed breaking up but it was easy enough. Not bad, but I had to repackage after opening to keep fresh. A good value for the cost and they look good and had enough scent to work so the freshness I wanted was there.

I like this product. It’s a great refresher for the coop. Smells wonderful and it’s more for your money.

Helps me letting the chickens clean their own nesting box. My Hens seem to take pride in keeping their areas clean because the herbs and scents make them happy. Seem strange, but in late winter/early Spring, my 8 hens are now laying 5-7 eggs a day and it is damp, raining with not much sun (but might be because they get lots of treats, cabbage, etc.

These dried herbs and flowers are so beautiful and smell so wonderful. I was shocked by how amazing it smells when I opened the vacuum sealed bag. This is a lot cheaper for a lot more than basically the same stuff sold in tiny quantities for hamsters and nicer quality. I spread this in my hamster’s enclosure and she must have smelled it because she came up out of her burrow right away to forage around!

Bought for: Nesting boxes to keep hens calm and fresh-smelling. What I liked: Smells amazing! You can see the quality of the flowers and herbs — lots of calendula and chamomile. The hens seem to settle quicker, and the coop smells way nicer. What could be better: Bag could be resealable. Overall: Lovely product — I’ll definitely buy again.
