When they said 5” they mean it.

Not Flat
These brass bars are not flat. They are concave and have deep scratches that are hard to sand out. Very rough finish. I use these for knife making and what you see is plating to make them look brassy

Good product/poor package
I buy these a lot. They are 6mm, not 1/4", Seems to be good 360 brass I have had to get a refund or return as the packaging is lousy. Sometimes one or more has fell out. Once I got a torn empty box. Cheapest I can find, so still my go to if I am not in a hurry
