KitchenAid 4 Slice Toaster, KMT4109PT, Pistachio

I love kitchen aid and have loads of their products. I got my first professional lift mixer when I was 14 and it's still working years and years later. I was sick of toasters not working well/ lasting long and decided to splurge a bit. So far the toaster toasts wonderfully and doesn't burn orn toast unevenly. It's easy to clean and quiet. I've only had it a few months, but really happy with it. If you have waffles that are frozen it has a freezer button I feel works the better than so many toasters I've had. You get a golden waffle that's not mushy or flimsy and heated evenly through.

This is an expensive toaster, but it does a nice job. My last toaster I cheaped out on and it was a terrible experience. This one is well made, has a heavy duty, grounded power cord, many settings, and looks great on your counter. At the highest toast setting, it will not burn your toast. If you want to get some char on your toast, you restart it and hit a button for a little more time, or just cancel on a second toasting. I have toasted bagels with the setting to only toast on the inner elements, which is a feature I missed not having on my last toaster. Frozen toaster strudel comes out nice and crispy with the frozen setting. I performs as it describes. The price is up there, but as long as this lasts I am fine with it. It doesn't feel like you are paying for the name more than the product.

My kitchenAid toaster is really great. It holds many widths of bread, from bagels to thinkly sliced rye. It's large but very attractive. The little spring crumb holders makes keeping this toaster much easier. Definitely worth the little extra I paid. Very sturdy construction. I would highly recommend this toaster.

So far so good! I would definitely recommend cooking it a few times to start and burn off what I assume was a preservative oil. It will initially smoke a bit, but after running it empty about 3 times, the smell was gone and there was no detectable flavor other than that of the actual toasting. Overall, we're very pleased with it: looks sharp, smooth controls, and makes wonderful toast. This is one of those products that makes me realize that I've been doing toast "wrong" all those years. Wife was skeptical at first, but has also come to really enjoy it. Is it expensive? Yes, but I'm a firm believer of paying money for quality. If there are any issues I will report back. Size wise it is quite large, like expect it to be larger in person, but if you have the space it is a nice quality centerpiece for the kitchen next to our matching mixer (perfect color match btw).

I bought the better toaster, best decision I made. Good value for the price. It’s well made, and as with all new appliances, I’ve figured out how to make perfect toast. Slot size is just right for bagels or waffles. Toasts evenly. Plus, I have had it long enough to use all of the selections available.

This is a very good toaster. It's got lots of functions and delivers good, consistent results. My only regret? I should've gotten the red one!

Looks great and not flimsy, grounded cord, but you have to use HIGHEST SETTING to get somewhat toasted bread or English muffins! So to get darker, normal toasting you think you can use the “just a bit more” button, but that pops back up in 2 seconds with no apparent extra toasting! Pricey but if it toasted nicely Inwould def keep. Returning this product.

Looks good, has good features. I will have to use it more to give a real review of the quality & durability over time.

Loved the retro colour of this toaster! It’s what drew us to it in the first place! Works really well, love the various settings, and having a four slice toaster with kids is a game changer!

A little on the pricey side , but this toaster toasts my bread just the way I like it, easy to clean and looks really nice although it is a lot larger than I was expecting

You know when you buy something and not only is it high quality but it does what it is supposed to do? That is this toaster. Not only can you feel the quality in the weight of this thing but you can see that they didn't cut corners and that care and thought was put into this toaster. Best part of all it TOASTS and it does it properly. None of this barely browning the bread and you need 2-3 times pushing the button down to get properly toasted toast. Nope, first time and the toast came out properly like it should. I like my toast a bit on the darker side. Not charcoal black but I like a deep brown colour on my toast and I finally can get it with this toaster on the first shot setting it to the highest setting. Thank you Kitchenaid for actually making a great toaster that actually works properly. I'm willing to pay more when something works and does it well and this is one of those times. This toaster is an investment and priced higher than your standard toasters and while that is a bit heavy on the wallet, I know that I'm getting a quality product that is going to work properly and last a good amount of time judging by how it toasts and the quality of the materials and the design. I'm done with buying cheap-throw away appliances that end up in the garbage after a few years. I got what I paid for and I will get what I paid for with this. Ok enough hammering on this point. Get this toaster and be happy with your toast. I know I will be!

This toaster is a great addition to my kitchen the beautiful pastel color matches my kitchen decor I am so glad that I bought it
