Great quality by this company

I've purchased several items from KabelDirekt ... because the first one I got was so excellent and of such high quality (in terms of build quality AND especially in terms of sound quality) ... that now I keep coming back to them to buy more stuff. I can't stop myself. Somebody please help me. These KabelDirekt products are the all-time bargain of the century in terms of audio bang-for-buck. You can really tell that they've put a huge effort into making a quality product that works well, that lasts, and that most importantly lets the music through crystal clear. OK, they are not as good as £200 cables from Chord (a UK high-end audio cable manufacturer) ... but they get you 85% of the way - and you'd really need a system that's way above average to tell the difference. So ... buy these cables with confidence, you will not regret it. I've had years of experience with all sorts of audio cables, including ultimate hi-fi ones costing several hundred pounds for just a short length ... and, compared to those, or to anything else on the market, KabelDirekt are absolutely unbeatable value. Forget the 2 quid, 3 quid, 5 quid type cables - just spend a couple of extra quid on these, and you'll be sorted.

You get what you paid for

After 6 months of using this cable on a daily basis for my home computing setup, I'm only just now getting a chance to write this review. I was very pleased with the product packaging & delivery. As for the product itself, let me just address some queries I have seen other people post; as I have used this product and can now answer them. Firstly, the cable is made out of a flexible rubber, but it is also quite strong and hard to pinch. It's definitely malleable enough to get around any computers / speakers / desk setup, or simply take it wherever you want it. The cable is sufficient protection for the cable, clearly, since it's still in the same fantastic condition now as it was the day it arrived, despite daily use. Another query I would like to address is the cable length. As I wasn't sure where I'd be using the cable when I bought it, I went for the 2 metre length. Some people worry about quality loss, distortion, or interference in cables, especially since the chances of these things occuring increase with cable length. However, absolutely NONE of these problems occured with this 2 metre cable. The sound quality is crisp, clear, and loud. I've never experienced any interference with this cable, even when operating mobile phones, wifi, and bluetooth in close proximity. In fact, my old cable had terrible interference problems, which is why I purchased this one, and I'm delighted to say I've never looked back since. Overall, this cable is well worth the money.

Fit for purpose

Excellent long cable. Nice flex to it but well insulated. No sound drop even though it’s long. Perfect.

I was looking for a decent cable to connect my B&W PX Headphones to my dedicated Hi-Fi Headphone amp. Whilst I wanted a decent cable, I did not want to pay the ridiculous prices some brands are asking. I did some research and Kabel Direct seemed to have a lot of positive reviews. I was concerned about RFI rejection capability, so I contacted KD and asked some questions, they also assured me that the cable resistance was very low. I have to say RFI rejection is excellent, the cable is very well made and is really good quality, there was no loss of performance compared to the original B&W cable. Sound quality was also very good, the soundstage was not quite as wide as I am used to, but for the price that is nit picking. Recommended.

This is a really nice cable. Only since I started using this cable I noticed the hum I had heard before was from using inferior audio cables. So glad I ordered this and got another one a little shorter. Really good quality! And the hum is gone.

after about 30 days the wire stopped working. i can now hear from only one side of the headphone. i tried it on miltiple devices to check, but i got the same result.

As you can expect with kabeldirekt, the connectors are machined perfectly, the gold plating is perfect and the wire is pure copper with proper shielding which rejects emf and rfi interference. These cables are very low capacitance perfoot as well which helps with highend reproduction and low end response. Its hard to find cables like this for the $ as most at this price point or even a bit more of a cost are usually garbage but look fancy, these I can say are no joke. Especially their rca cables, those are especially great for the money and also feature very low capacitance per ft. I believe they are around 16 to 18 Pico farrods perfoot, where as most at that price point are 100 or more.... Which eventually does act like a highpass filter. Buy with confidence. Every cable I bought from them has been wonderful and I'd go so far as to say you literally are getting 75 ish percent of a mogami studio pro cable with this brand "which mogamis wire and connectors are the best of the best, they even give you detailed specsheets on their stuff on their website" the next best brand would be worlds best cables which use highend neutrik & switchcraft connectors and Mogami wire to make them. Between those three brands everything else is snake oil with pretty packaging. Id say "ugreen" can be decent too. They'd be my next choice if kabeldirekt doesn't have what im looking for, unless I have extra money then mogami or worlds best cables are what I'd get. But in general. 1. Mogami gold cables 2. Worlds best cables 3. kabeldirekt 4. Hosa hgtr series 5. Ugreen, thats the list, never buy monster, those are "highend cables" for people who don't know what they're talking about. Blue Jean makes great stuff too which are incredible quality. Those id say are the actual limit, anything more expensive than their stuff actually IS a waste of money.
