Great for driveshafts on GM vehicles
This medium length T45 is perfect for the driveshafts bolts on GM vehicles. The reach is just long enough for clearance around obstacles. Anyone who's tried to remove them with hand tools or shorter bits is familiar with how frustrating that can be. Beyond that specific purpose these are excellent for any stubborn T45 fasteners which can be found on many other vehicles. Two in the pack is nice, because no matter how strong they are.... They do all eventually break or wear out. This set includes a back up so that you can carry on with the job should one fail. The fitment is comparable to any other brand, I have yet to test the durability, but I expect them to hold up as well as any other brand. The only style that's stronger for impact use are the two piece sets where the bit is pressed into the socket. These have held up just fine, so far. I expect the weak point to be in the neck/taper between the star and the socket end. It may eventually twist off with use/abuse. Overall, very pleased with these. They are essentially a speciality tool and not many brands offer 1/2" drive impact torx sockets... These are a fairly priced option especially if you only need a single size.

Not super strong, but definitely on the hefty side.
I got these to replace the ones that I have broken trying to remove a rotor. Even though one of them broke on the hardest bolt to remove, it is the one that my other 3 sockets broke on. However, after treating the bolt to heat and penetrating oil, the second socket in this pair did the trick. As far as it being impact rated, it seemed to break at the same point my non-impact sockets did. These are pretty hefty and are a little on the expensive side.

Nice pair of torx sockets
I had been looking for a set of these and could not find them at length. This seems to fit the bill. Can’t yet tell how durable they will be but they work well on arrival.
