A slam dunk of a deal. Phenomenal quality of chef knife for any intermediate+ chef experience. Each knife is much more expensive on its own, so this whole bundle is a really great deal. This set essentially covers all your basic kitchen cutting utensil needs - the primary knife is sturdy and sharp with great reach and good weight, the serrated bread knife is a smooth cut without ripping up your bread, and the paring knife is perfect for your precision or small-item needs. Each knife is great manufacturing quality with no residues, loose fits, or cheap materials. The block is pretty solid quality and comes with additional slots to fit other knives you may have that can fit.

Assuming you get a genuine set, these knifes are very sharp and stay sharp longer comparing to many other common household brands, which is telling me they are certainly made from higher grade steel then most other knifes that may appear sharper at the beginning but will become dull very quickly. Very satisfied with the purchase and the chef knife from this set quickly became household favorite. Very nice handle and weight balance on the knife as well.

I had my set of Henkel's for about 25 years and it was time to make a move. Found this starter set and decided to give them a try. I wanted so bad for these to deserve all 5 stars. If this were my first good set, maybe they would be a 5. The set is beautiful and the block itself is outstanding. They are super sharp. Although the pieces are certainly lighter than my 25 year old set, I just do not feel that they are as sturdy. They are a little bendy. Maybe this is the way they are made now. Maybe it is just a learning curve. I do hope they last at least half as long as my last set.

Excellent starter set with Wusthof pieces! You can't beat the price either! They are solid knives and the block allows for extra knives to be added. I then purchased the steak knives to go with it.

We’ve bought lots of knives, these are the best we have used. Especially love the bread knife! I bake bread weekly and have bought a few bread knife that just want happy with and this one is so great, cuts like butter. They are worth every penny.
