Wireless CarPlay Adapter for iPhone Plug & Play Seamless Connection Convert Wired to Wireless CarPlay for iOS 10+ and Cars from 2016

Works well. It is just like every other adapter for setup. Plug in, open bluetooth settings in phone, connect/pair, and then you are good to go. It connects by time I back out of garage and head out. It is small and doesn't obstruct anything in my car. Overall latency is good, not a huge noticeable lag, about the same as my hubby's built in carplay on his truck. All in all it works well enough that it is worth the purchase, and the lights on this adapter aren't bright. I had compared this adapter to another one with a newer chip and it may have been marginally better on latency but the bright LED light was terribly bright and so distracting that I couldn't stand it.

this piece simply does the job. no disconnections, simple set up, it's small- so it doesn't get in the way. i've had it for 2 months now and had zero issues.

Overall this is a great adapter. It connects quickly and works great. I don’t notice any audio latency or sound quality difference between this and using USB. My only complaint is it remembers the last connected person and will always reconnect to that device if multiple devices are present. Most of the time that’s fine but when both my partner and I get into the car there’s no easy way to switch between people. You have to disable wireless/bluetooth on the current device and then unplug and replug adapter. If you are usually the only person using wireless CarPlay this adapter is fantastic! I’m going to try a different brand with a switch on it that supposedly lets to switch between two users. Hope it works better.

This wireless CarPlay adapter checks does exactly what I was searching for. I would always plug my phone in no matter how short of a trip I was taking. In time I would start to experience issues with the cable connectivity to my phone. Those days are over! Now I can leave my phone in my pocket or set it in the console and it automatically connects within a few seconds. Another aspect that drew me towards this adapter was its size. This adapter is fairly small and doesn’t get in the way at all. My vehicle is a 5th gen 4Runner which is CarPlay compatible and this device works very well. On occasion when the head unit starts up, the screen remains dark. Pulling the dongle out of the USB port and putting it back in seems to instantly fix the connection issue and CarPlay starts up without fail. By on occasion I’m talking every 20-30 times I start the car. I will take this minor inconvenience any day over the wired connection. I’ve read other reviews where lag is an issue. I haven’t really noticed that with this device. I suppose there is a slight delay when skipping songs through Pandora however it doesn’t bother me any. The cost of this device is well worth the ease and convenience to add wireless CarPlay to your head unit.

I was constantly hang g difficulty with my Apple play disconnecting from my car or not connecting at all. I got this baby and it connects right away every time! SUPER easy to plug in and use and very effective!

great device, super easy to use, no lag, easy setup, no audio latency, honestly it’s everything you went if your car missed the wireless CarPlay shift by just a few years like ours. It bridges the gap. I will see at first it was weird and would disconnect in the first few weeks, but then it just… got better and had been perfect. My assumption is it has something to do with something I was doing but I have no idea what it was.

Solid adapter. Connects about 5 seconds after turning on the car (which is fine for me) and hasn’t dropped signal. There IS an input delay for things like changing songs (about a second), but that’s the only place I really notice it. I can use nav (through infotainment or my phone) without any issues. You get used to it, and I don’t think this is unique to this device. My specs: 2024 Kia EV6, iPhone 15 Pro

This definitely alleviates the need for a cord. It can be glitchy on the screen and sometimes struggles with connectivity but the price point was good to see if I liked the concept. I bought my son one for Christmas. It is small and not obvious.
