About time
I've been after something official for rechargeable batteries for ages for my Q3 as I was sick and tired changing battery every few weeks.I've already got a boboVR head strap and battery packs for that so the controller was the next logical area to sort. The controllers fit perfectly (just remember triggers INWARDS) or you will just get flashing orange lights 😂Not sure how long it takes to charge from new but so far I'm happy... ohh and the wire it says to use to charge the quest also charges my boboVR newest generation battery so that's a bonus.£60 is a little expensive for what it is but go for it

Great charging station only let down by need to plug wire in
Meta seems to have made a big mistake with Meta Quest 3. You have a choice of 2 Meta chargers - the full-size one takes up a lot of room and uses wireless charging which is slow. The wireless charging holder is very stupidly designed and it can be fiddly to attach your Meta Quest 3 to the charging holder - which negates the whole point of having wireless charging. It also feels completely pointless having wireless charging when you have to precisely line up your headset to a very fiddly connector. So then instead of that, you have this charger which is lovely and compact and has a wire which needs to be plugged into the headset every time you want to charge it. This charger is great but I can't help but feel that they missed a trick with the charging connector. Why can't I just slot my headset onto a charging dock that uses a physical connector and thereby get the speed of wired charging with the convenience of docked charging? That aside, this is a very neat charging dock and I do recommend it over the wireless charger because it's less fiddly and faster. But I do hope that future versions of the Meta Quest unit come with a proper charging dock.

Batteries keep disconnecting
Firstly, I love the idea of this dock - you can charge the controllers easily by placing them in a stand, and a separate cable connects from the dock to the Quest 3 to charge it if required.I would rate it more, but the battery replacements - especially the battery for the right controller - keep slipping, ensuring the controls disconnect frequently during gameplay. The problem is very prevalent when playing a physical game such as Beat Saber, where I would lose tracking often. It's a really frustrating problem and I note another reviewer has had a similar problem.Perhaps I've connected the batteries incorrectly, but I don't think I have. It's a frustrating issue which totally ruins the product. I'm close to returning it.

Right controller now tuns off spontaneously
I got my dock and white it does work well charging my headset and controllers the right controller with the battery fitted now spontaneously turns off when it wants this isn't good while gaming and for the price really isn't worth it at all I'd give it 0 stars if I could

Quality and easy to use
Was on the lookout for my quest 3 controllers to have a dock to recharge as I have straps on them and no other recharging dock ( that I could see ) catered for these . So as it is an official product and it supports the straps , I went ahead and bought the docking station.Took longer to get into the packaging than to get the 2 batteries inserted into the controllers and charging . It doesn't come with a power supply/charger , so used an Amazon basic 65w charger that works a treat. The controllers find their own way to the charging point just by laying them into the cradles and charging begins .Only real downside is the usb c cable that is used to charge the headset is very short 300mm . Luckily I have a longer aftermarket lead that will suffice . Still worth 5 stars in my opinion for build quality and none of this pathetic rgb kiddie lighting that seems to come on some docking stations . Happy to recommend if you want a quality charging dock
