A very nicely illustrated and simply written book. Kindergartners loved it.

Good resource for early childhood 3-7 year olds

I am a kindergarten teacher whose school district recently adopted a science kit dealing with motion and force. I was looking for some supplemental read alouds to serve as a way to introduce and reinforce the concepts we would be studying with this new science kit. I was so happy when this popped up as a suggestion after I purchased another book. It really helped and I have shared it with the other kindergarten teachers in my building.

A great book to introduce the concept of Force and Motion. My Special Education students loved it!

This book has great simple explanations and experiments that you can feasibly do in the classroom, with simple, cheap materials. It really breaks down the concept of force and motion nicely.

I love books like this. they are fun to go through and I like trying the activities. you may not be able to do everything as you would like to but I think it's a good intro to scientific concepts and understanding how things work

This was a wonderful science trade book that was children-friendly, easy to read, and full of colorful pictures and bold print. Truly a great supplemental resource to my 2nd grade science lesson on forces.
